This may be one of the manga with the worst art I have ever read so far. Seriously, the art style is awful. The body is not proporcionated with the head; hands are usually bigger than the body; chins of semes are square and heads of ukes are triangle-shaped. However, I love Junjou Romantica. I watched the anime before I read the manga. Actually, this is my first yaoi, and one of the most romantic and funny. Misaki and Usagi are my favorite couple...

Sería más bien un 3,5, porque la historia me encanta (Usagi es la caña), pero el dibujo psche, estoy leyendo el #3 y noto mucho la diferencia.

i read this a while ago, actually, but it popped up on my feed and i got eerily sucked into memories of this awful manga...the characters were flat and boring. i mean, what was i even expecting from a yaoi, though? they were all cardboard cutout tropes.the plot was lackluster. below lackluster, even. and the character--i don't even remember his name, but the silver haired one--was creepy as fuck and at one point outright forced himself on the sma...

Kyaah I love how there are minor pairings in the story too.~I especially love Hiroki's and Nowaki's awkward realtionship with each other

Interesting - when I decided to finally start following through with my "rerating/reevaluating my manga" plan I found that I had initially given this three stars, but then decided on five because it was "funny and wonderfully entertaining". Well, it's back to three now. Why? Well, one reason is the reason for my "rerating my manga" plan in the first place - "Junjou Romantica" was one of the first manga series I read, and back then I simply was mis...

This review's for all of published Junjou Romantica volumes. This manga was the one who grabbed me into gay-understanding-and-addicting world. The cute and sometimes angst relationship of Misaki and Usagi-san always got me swooned off my feet. LOL.This story told about 3 different relationship:Junjou Romantica is a story about Misaki, a boy who's gonna go to college with a mess of a scores. Always supporting, his brother finally asked his bestfrie...

I didn't like the first couple/story all, but absolutley loved the second. So I do want to read more of this series.

I have watched the 2 seasons in anime as well and loved it. I noticed that in the books you get a better idea of how the relationships develops over the year. The anime shows Misaki's and Usami-sans' antics much better. It almost develops into comedy at times. But it does lack the explicit scene's and for me it are those that show me how the relation develops. My Japanese is progressing very nicely as well, as the anime is in Japanese with subtit...

What did I think? I thought junjou romantica was just amazing. At first I was a little iffy about it since it seemed more like an 'established relationship' thing, which I don't like as much because I like seeing the two fall in love and get together. I was wrong though because this definitely has all that and more.I loved the whole 3 stories thing, even though it was confusing. I just read the stories separately which very much helps. Other than...

I bought this Manga on a whim, one day, when I was in a book shop. I didn't know anything about the series; just thought it looked amusing! Now, rereading it years later, I'm glad I gave it a go, it still has me hooked to the storyline xDD! This was an incredible read, and the beginning of a fantastic series! The chemistry between the main couple; Usagi and Misaki, is just fantastic, and they really drew me in! They have a great connection, and t...

Hummm.

Junjo Romantica has 10 volumes with three different relationships. It's definitely in my top 5 for best yaoi! It's funny, cute and has lot's of romance and drama... and yaoi.Review: The first and main relationship we see is with Usami (aka Usagi, meaning "rabbit") and Misaki. Usami is a genius who tutors Misaki because he is the younger brother of the man he loves (un-requited).Their story gets cut off after a couple of chapters and we see the se...

A once-guilty pleasure, I now flaunt the bittersweet manga series that initiated me into the Yaoi community (one that is admittably lacking in great substance, but aren't all communities?) and never fails to turn a crappy moment around with a little chuckle at the antics of Misaki or the attitudes of Usagi or a sigh at the sweet love between any of the three couples. Greatly reccommended. My favorite manga to date.**I would like to warn though th...

I love this series! So emotional and funny! I've watched both seasons, Hiroki and Nowaki are the best couple!

Own how much I love this, mainly the egoist couple, Nowaki is just really lovely with Hiroki

HAHAHAHAIM SCREAMING AND FUCKING CRYING INSIDE. I LOVE THIS. However the show is much better. The art sucks.

[Review written after reading this for the second time:]When I read this for the first time, I gave this book three stars. And in all honesty, it's about all *this* volume deserves - but since I feel like I'm rating the series as a whole here, five it is.It's a rather superficial series, sure, but it's really funny and just wonderfully entertaining. I love reading this during my breaks at work because it genuinely cheers me up. And yes, 99% of th...

Because I love the anime, I decided to read the manga, same with Sekaiichi Hatsukoi. The first volume closely resembles the anime. With Misaki Takahashi on the verge of taking his exams for college, he doesn't do so well on the practice exam so his brother Takahiro asks his friend and novelist Akihiko Usami to tutor him. Within six months time, Misaki has improved enough to gain entry to Mitsuhashi University, the college where his brother was sup...

I read a lot of Manga online because I don't have much access to them in libraries or stores. Therefore, I am not exactly sure which volume I am on, since they post chapters instead of volumes, but once the series is completed I will add all of them to my "Read" shelf. My friend had gotten me the first season of the anime for Junjou Romantica as a "gag gift" for my high school graduation, but low-and-behold, I fell in love with the series. And pr...

Misaki and Usami, Hiro and Nowaki both couple are dealing with similar issues but because their personalities are different, the situations never feel repetitive. Misaki, wannabe college student, asks Usami, a famous novelist and family friend, to tutor him so he can pass the college entrance exam. Usami is in love with Misaki's brother, who has no clue about Usami's feelings. Misaki is attracted to Usami but unsure of his feelings and doesn't wa...

First of all, I love Shungiku Nakamura and all of her works, I really do. But if you're a sensitive person, I wouldn't read this manga. It has some themes that may disturb certain people, but my advice is to look over those parts of the story. But still, if you can't handle that, don't read it or just turn to the anime. The art in this manga isn't great, but I'm sure the author tried her hardest, and she was only twenty-two when she created it.Muc...

Poorly written, awkardly drawn, short. But oh my god it's so romantic and it's my favourite and god I just want to find an Akihiko or a Misaki and I want to live in a big apartment and stay there all the time and be a famous writer or a famous writer's boyfriend who corrects their proofs and cooks and cleans for them and jesus christ I'm so lonely

I love the art and the story line. The plot is very well placed. A good read for any who love manga. The love in this can be seen as very realistic.
