The story is slowly taking a darker turn. I like it. Well i am intrigued now so i'll have to keep reading it :)

Ok, finally reached a volume I didn't love. I'm also worried that a summer camp arc is coming up and I hope it's not predictable and/or boring. And why was it so easy to capture the Hero Killer? I thought for sure he'd last longer. 😕3.5 but I can't round up because I found parts of this slightly snooze-inducing. I might take a break and read something else for a bit and come back to this series later.

Another perfectly solid volume that dishes out some more backstory for a couple of characters. As a whole, it’s a slower book, but what story there was was still pretty exciting, and the ending was a tease, as usual.

My face after I finished reading this volume:I am so angry right now. Those assholes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! WHY WOULD THEY DO THIS???? THEY ENDED THE VOLUME ON THE BIGGEST FRICKEN CLIFFHANGER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!But yenno other than that this was a great volume, like always. The last chapter is titled “Katsuki Bakugo: Origin” but it didn’t seem much like an origin to me, but whatever. What’s actually going on is still pretty cool.We go...

Another great installment in the series. I'm getting close to catching up to where the anime has reached for now. It'll be really interesting when I start reading stuff that I haven't seen before. Oh, and I absolutely love the random pages that have background on the characters or their outfits or behind the scenes details about the series. I just think it adds a rather cool element to the reading experience.Oh, and I read this as part of the Man...

This cover has nothing but Kacchan on it so clearly it's my fav volume. 5 stars for angry child Kacchan!!these character comment pages will never not be funny to me. so helpful and informative.that's right Kacchan, show him how virtuous you can be!ty to whoever cropped this part. KiriBaku for the win! apparently the ship name is Bakushima but I learned that after placing Kirishima's name in front so I'm sticking with it. no I am not tempted to st...

Of the collected volumes, this is perhaps the best one yet. We see the end of the fight with Stain as well as the beginning of the one-on-one final exams. The art is gorgeous with Deku, Ida, and Todoroki finally fighting together against a common enemy with all their abilities on display. And then All Might punches Bakugo so hard that the latter throws up, so, you know, only good things.

I LOVE this volume, there’s so much happening! Exited to learn more about All for One and how that’s going to play a part in the series. This series is almost caught up with the anime as well though so I’m loving it even more!

I like the formulaic shonen parts better than the overall story arc. This is fun stuff, but it's no Food Wars.

Akhir arc hero killer stain vs Iida++. Penyelesaian penuh kompromi buat anak2 Yuuei, masih untung gitu, bisa saja dpt hukuman lebih berat mereka itu.Suka banget episode ujian akhir team Bakugou+Izuku. Aizawa-sensei, aku menjura padamu, kamu benar2 guru cerdik yang mengerti murid2mu.

~3.5/5The big battle with the Hero Killer concludes in this volume. It's an odd conclusion, at least for the Hero Killer, seeing where his mental state goes. Afterward, the group gets to see the aftermath of a public fight like that, the way the police have to balance things out. There's a small break, where everyone gets back in class and we see what some of the others had been up to. Then the next big test comes, and each student is paired up an...

Buko No Hero Academia vol.7 finally , we can get a chance to see Midoriya mastering his powers and deals with it in a proper combat, with Iida and Todoroki at his side fighting The Hero Killer. The perfect sadist vellien, or that's what I thought so , it surprised me for sure seeing the vellien after he got capture saving his enemy, and I kept wondering why he did it , until he said something about his " creed " . yes it didn't convince me . at t...

4/5 starsI own both an English and a French edition of this book, because when I bought a bundle of the first seven volumes, they sent me one in French and I couldn't be bothered to send them all back to get a replacement so I just bought another copy. I'm glad, thought, because Bakugou is my Bakuboy and I love him. This is such a good volume. We see the wrap up to the Hero Killer Stain Arc/Internship Arc, with a majority of the students returnin...

As a fan of My Hero, I have to say this volume was very boring and slow. Due to the volume being mostly filler. I found myself wanting to stop reading and go do other things. the volume only need one backstory which was about almights connection to all for one and the story behind it everything else could have waited and would have been better explained as the story progresses. Yet we have a whole volume destroyed due to filler, It wasn't till th...

Whoa, I am already almost caught up to the anime (at the time of writing this review) and I still have three whole volumes to go! I'm really starting to run out of things to say as I complete each of these tankobon. The quality of the artwork, direction, storytelling, etc. is just top-notch throughout the series and I can only repeat myself so many times XD There are still occasions here and there where the English translation feels off, but sinc...

PROTEJANLO!------------*again for the ones in the back*Stain saved Deku because he thinks he could become a real hero someday a...

Holy. Crap, does a lot happen in this volume. From the awesome conclusion of the battle with Stain, to the conclusion of the students' internships, to exams, to some pretty heavy revelations about Midoriya's/All Might's powers, volume 7 is the densest installment of My Hero Academia we've had in quite some time. And yet, it somehow manages to pack all of this action, intrigue, and world-building into one package, without feeling rushed or bloated...

I'm seriously in love with this seriesThese kids!!! They just want to be hero's!!! And do the right thing! They get beat up so often I'm actually a little surprised there's not more permanent damage to them already.I'm so excited for the final exams because we get to see more of other characters, that we don't normally get to see because they're not relevant to the main story. Don't get me wrong, I do love the mains but I stan side characters eve...

The good:-Great battles.-The origin of Stain was teased and it was very interesting.-The All for one vs One for all though not very original was an interesting revelation that it came as a surprise to me.-Katsuki and deku team is very entertaining and something that was bound to happen since a couple of volumes now.-The magnitude of the evil forces that the heroes are going to battle was shown and it's making of a very interesting path to unravel...

June 2017: 4 StarsWhat an interesting turn of events! I'm excited to see what happens next.I enjoyed the Hero Killer arc, especially Stain. He's an interesting character, and I hope he comes back. In a straightjacket, needless to say, but I'd like to see a scene with a conversation between him and the police guy who is friends with All Might or something.

(I rated this volume 5 stars). Finally starting to venture into the territory of chapters I haven't read yet! I only read up to chapter 60 after the first season of the anime finished up last summer, and this volume covers up to chapter 62. I'm really excited to get into new content, and as always, this volume doesn't disappoint!

The volume covers the rest of the Hero Killer Stain's arc and how the rest of the students cope with the patrols they were assigned with. We later on go to the final exam of the school and a whole three chapters cover it, and the arc hasn't finished too. Overall, it was entertaining.

oh oops I forgot to mention I absolutely devoured this in like 2.5 seconds. I laughed, I cried, I finalized the adoption procedures so Bakugo is officially my dearest son. I also immediately started Vol 8 but I haven't finished it yet so I'm not sure where this volume ended.
