I have a love affair with Kylie Scott's writing. Her characters have this humorous, self-deprecating voice that just chimes with me. In Chaser we finally get Eric's story, who is Joe's brother, male main character of Twist. Back when I read Joe's book I was curious how the author will make me love the immature, self-absorbed man-ho Eric was portrayed as. I'm happy to report that Kylie Scott passed with flying colors.Eric's friends have been real...

❤ 4,5 stars ❤Chaser was fantastic, the story was brilliant and the characters unique! If you have read this series before, you have already met Eric!I was so excited to read his book and see what Kylie has for him. Chaser is a romantic, sweet and funny story!Kylie Scott did an amazing job with this one and especially with Eric's POV since the book is all in his point of view!I loved that Eric in the end he isn't the manwhore that everyone think...

Remember Eric? He got up to all sorts of shenanigans in Twist that actually turned out okay in the end but he has a very mischevious side to him that is revealed more in this story.Eric lives above the Dive Bar that he co owns with Lydia and Nell in his recently refurbished apartment. He has a bit of a love/hate thing with Nell and they often butt heads on just about everything. They have a bit of history together and as a result of this Nell has...

This was brilliant! Kylie Scott rocks the male POV! I thought Eric had the best voice, I couldn’t get enough! Page after page I was smiling and feeling emotional all rolled into one. This was so sweet, funny, and charming. I can't begin to say enough good things. My absolute favorite in the series!Full review to come.Complimentary copy received for honest review.

This author has a talent for writing books that feel authentic. The characters, setting and story have just enough reality to make this fictional work believable. Chaser is book three of a spin-off series and still manages to be fresh. It is not necessary to have read the previous books in the series, but do yourself a favour and start at the beginning. You should get the full impact of the awesomeness of Kylie Scott! If I am being honest, Eric's...

Eric is a man who doesn't like to see his Jean upset, “what’d you do?” I yelled at a wide-eyed Boyd. The big man cringed, gaze darting from Jean to me and back again. “Did you say something?” Given Boyd was an elective mute, it was highly unlikely. But you never knew." Jean is just too sweet, "only to have her point to her breasts. “I said, I can show them to you sometime if you want.” There are some lines Eric doesn't like to be cr...

3.5 starsI have been a fan of Kylie Scott since I discovered her Stage Dive series. And, although this is a spin off, it's nothing like it. The Dive Bar series is a little lighter with a different kind of emotion.Eric and Jean were great together. Their banter was fantastic and I love the way Eric accepts Jean as part of the "family" right away. Despite the obstacles that they face, he steps up to be her friend and protector. I loved all the char...

3-3.5 StarsI love Kylie Scott and her Lick is one of my fav books ever. The Dive Bar series has been good to me and continues to be so with the manwhorey Eric. I enjoyed watching him sink into "real" life and love. While friendships have been strained to an almost breaking point, it took a preggo girl from out of town to kind of heal everyone..In my stories I love banter. Conversations and banter are always something I need to help me connect...b...

Eric is the bad boy brother of Joe from the last book in The Dive Bar series. He's arrogant, hot, and can't seem to keep it in his pants. That is, until Jean walks into his bar and it's pretty much insta-lust on Eric's end, at least until he realizes Jean is pregnant. Eric was not really a likeable character in the first two books in this series. He does get more fleshed out in this book and we find out what's going on in his pretty head. We find...

If you have read this series before, you have met Eric. I mean what's not to love?! The Eric Bubble must be a great place to live!Just for an example, he has met this girl for 2 seconds and already decided she will be his girlfriend. 'I wanted to have sex with Jean. And be the one to listen to her talk and get to eat with her, etcetera (insert boring boyfriend stuff here).' Boy does he get a shock. Enter baby bump!!!! The story just flowed, so ea...

I loved this story of Eric the bad boy that wasn't all that bad.  The growth of his character throughout the book really made it great.  He faced some odds, especially from his "friends" but, his resilience and positive attitude never seemed to waiver.  Jean was sweet and mature for such a young woman.  Her strength of character really endured her to me.My absolute favorite part of this book hands down was the interaction between Eric and Ada...

Always good humor. Always good family and friends, with that touch of heartache and angst. Always good sex and ALWAYS huge amounts of love. It was a privilege to have been one of the first to read Chaser. I have been a willing part of the Stage Dive/Dive Bar family and I am honored. Eric was a true redemption story. There was no choice in falling in love with him.

Love Love Love! The third book in the Dive Bar series features bartender/co-owner Eric and a town newbie (and an online friend of Nell's,) Jean. Eric has always been a bit of a playboy. Never getting into serious relationships, but when Jean walks into his bar, he is immediately smitten. When he notices that she's pregnant, to say he's shocked is an understatement. Then he finds out she moving into the apartment down the hall from him. Avoiding h...

4.5*Chaser is the 3rd standalone in the Dive Bar series... I read the first one “Dirty” but somehow missed the second and now I read Chaser’s blurb and I was completely sold.Eric is the typical womanizer, he has all the looks for the bad boy but he is not getting any younger and something about that is bothering him. He wants to make a change of his life and be a better person a change the impression everybody has on him. Jean needed a chan...

4.5 Stars!!!!I won this book in a giveaway and I couldn't be happier. I had actually started the first book and stopped, because at that time the book wasn't doing anything for me. Winning this book had me go back and reread the first book and I was so happy. This book was amazing. Eric is a manwhore, a playboy, he gets around. Yet, even though he is all those things he doesn't want to be known for all those things. Being seen as the flaky manwho...

From the previous books of the series, Eric was the guy that every women flocked to at the bar and he loved women and sex. But after what happened with Nell in Twist, Eric was a little lost and watching everyone around him get paired up and moving on with their lives. And I understand that he wasn't always reliable and just went with the flow, but it was hard to read how everyone saw him as a flake and had zero confidence in him and Nell was the ...

Okay. I liked Eric in the previous books, but he wasn't exactly the poster child for responsibility. He liked women. He kind of had a laid back attitude where everything was involved (work, women, whatever) and his friends and family ended up covering for him on more than one occasion.Plus, there was the whole *incident* with Nell. Which, you know, didn't exactly paint him in the most flattering of lights.Guys, Eric surprised me. After being give...
