    I am so fortunate to have gotten to read an ARC of The Girl in the Tower. I loved The Bear and the Nightingale, but I have to say this book is even better. Now that Vasya is older, her problems are messier. She's complicated and imperfect and the story hurls through twists and turns and is completely mesmerizing. The beautiful prose continues, however.
