Shout out to this book and GMM in general for getting me through some of the toughest moments in my life. The past 2 weeks have been awful but being able to lose myself in this book and the show has helped so much!! Will have a full review up once I have more free time and things in my life have calmed down and sorted themselves out. Thank you Hachette Australia for providing me with a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.

Rhett and Link are two of the funniest guys you've probably never heard of. They host the daily YouTube show Good Mythical Morning, the podcast Ear Biscuits, have appeared on Jimmy Fallon, and created the viral "NOPE! Chuck Testa!" local taxidermy commercial.Amidst all the hijinx, there's also a very powerful tale of staying true to yourself, and a heartwarming story of two guys who have been attached at the hip since grade school making it again...

You have to like them as much as they seem to like themselves in order to like this book. I’m glad they find themselves to be hilarious. Good for them

Loved it just like I love GMM. And I laughed really hard...unsurprisingly. Also, bacon will bookmark when it comes in bookmark form.

I went back and forth as to whether or not I should write a review about this book. I bought it myself, so there wasn't any pressure from publisher, etc. but I have a hard enough time reviewing non-fiction, let alone non-fiction I read by choice, for my own enjoyment. But I decided to write a review about this book, less in a critical sense, and more in an "I read this book for fun" sense, if that makes any sense. If you are not familiar with Rhet...

Coming from a fan of Rhett and Link, I thought this book was really interesting and fun. The best part of the book in my opinion was the chapter about their wives. The pictures and stories were incredibly cute and I don't think they've ever delved into how they met their wives- so that was nice. Aside from that, it was simply written and probably wouldn't please non-fans. I don't think many non-fans would really be interested in this book anyways...

Full disclosure: I originally wasn’t going to buy this book. Yes, I enjoy Rhett & Link, and yes, I watch nearly every episode of GMM every morning with a cup of coffee and my breakfast (or at least when I get home from work on the days I have to go in early), but the book never really struck me as something I had to read. And yet, after the last couple of months of a steady diet of Star Wars novels and comics, horror, and other fictional genres...

I loved this. It was a story of friendship, being friends, and staying friends. It's an interesting take on how to live life. For people that watch the show on YouTube, there are some stories that have already been told (Link's broken pelvis) but I didn't care that it was included again, I still find that one of the funniest stories I have ever heard (not just from Rhett and Link but of all the comedies I have listened to and watched). It's a fun...

Fortunately, I’ve been on an hours long return drive home from vacation and was able to listen to this audiobook from start to finish without interruption. Rhett & Link did not disappoint with this incredibly entertaining book! It was great to hear from their wifes (don’t change the F to a V), members of the Mythical Crew, and even Ms. Locklear as each person read their respective contributions to the Book of Mythicality. Not only was it funn...

First let me say that I regret buying the eBook. Mistake on my part - I didn't realize when I pre-ordered it that it would have the illustrations and physical-book-heavy gags. That's on me. But as far as the content goes, there just weren't any new stories for someone who has seen virtually every episode of GMM. I get that when you do a daily internet show where you talk about your life you go through most of your good stories on the show, but I ...

The celebrity memoir is my guilty pleasure genre. And I've been a fan of Rhett and Link for quite a few years now. Their silly, zany humor just cracks me up sometimes. I liked the book, and some of the stories in it were pretty great, but I didn't love it as much as I expected to. It dragged on a little too long, for my tastes. And, as is quite frequently the case in this genre, it was pretty dang self-indulgent. I'm probably a solid 3.5 on this....

I'm not a big fan of Good Mythical Morning. I've seen maybe two or three of their videos- enough to recognize them and feel like I had a pretty good idea what I might be getting into with this audiobook. That said, it's an enjoyable listen if you're interested in a sort of general introduction to who these guys are. I say that because, while I can't speak for the unique content of the physical book, the audiobook is mostly stories about Rhett and...

I love GMM so I wasn't surprised that I love this book! There is pictures and charts on almost every page so it's a quick read. Rhett and Link tell you how they met and stories from their lives while also giving you a guidebook to being mythical. I'm so happy Rhett and Link included their wives in this. Their early dating and proposal stories were my favorite part. The pictures are adorable. I also loved the chapter on Merle Haggard. It's another...

Such a fun and delightful book! For longtime fans like myself it's a must read, full of all the embarrassing childhood stories we've all been waiting for. For people new to these guys, it's just really funny and enjoyable. These guys are just naturally hilarious even if you don't know who they are and this book really encourages you to just live life to the fullest and be true to yourself. I love it! I've been reading it at night before I go to b...

This was a great audiobook. I knew what I was expecting since I’ve been a mythical beast for over three years. I loved listening to their stories and laughed out loud several times. It helped me pass the time while I was performing my research. It was sweet, funny, and insightful. Unfortunately I work at a national lab and it is against security protocols to take a picture of myself listening to the audiobook, otherwise I would have totally par...

A fantastic addition to their long list of creative endeavors! This book is equal parts storytelling and advice-giving, with the delicious comedy I've come to expect from Rhett and Link soaked into every page. The chapters are short, but poignant - and though it never came across as pedantic, the book really did inspire me to be more creative and child-like in my life.I've been a Mythical Beast for years, but I can honestly say that this book is ...

I loved getting to know Rhett and Link more from this book. I have been a Mytholical Beast for a little over three years and I am so happy to be able to read more about how they met and just about them. This is the perfect book for fans of Good Mythical Morning and Rhett and Link in general. I believe anybody though can get something out of this book. It is funny and heartwarming at parts. The section with their wives writing is so great. I reall...

Being a huge fan of Rhett and Link and their show, Good Mythical Morning, this beautifully illustrated, and exceptionally written book (they’re exceptional writers) isn’t just full of the creativity and humor that is stringed throughout all of their productions, but it actually sheds light into their own personal philosophy for how to live a fuller life that embodies curiosity, creativity, and tomfoolery in what they call Mythicality. A fanta...

5 Stars is an understatement! I have fallen in love with this book and how it made me laugh and also get me thinking about so many things. Just as I got started with this book it came to an end and I never wanted it to end! It was so beautifully written! I love them and GMM and I’m glad they’ve been a part of my routine and want to #TBT (Thowback Thanks) for making me Mythical Best and I’m glad that I’m a Mythical Beast!

I'm the last person to read a youtuber book, and I never have before this one. I love GMM, and have been watching for the last 3 years. So, I had to get their book. It didn't follow the traditional style of these kinds of books, and it was done in a really interesting and fun way. The layout and design were beautiful. It was so easy to get through, and it was very funny and entertaining. I'd say if you're a dedicated Mythical Beast, you have to r...

Sorry Rhett and Link, but as much as I like your content this book was a fail to me. I found it mostly stupid instead of funny. I listened to the audio book and most of the time I was bored. It felt really artificial like you were looking for stuff to create more content instead of doing some really awesome avant garde. I think real life Rhett and Link come across much better. Book format made your humor come across as very juvenile. I smiled ver...

I enjoyed this book so much I've been continuously talking about it since I read the first anecdote. I enjoyed it so much I can't wait to loan it out to friends and family and force them to read it.If you aren't a fan of GMM already, I think the book would still be fun. Maybe not 5 stars, though.

I cant really be full objective here, Ive been watching GMM for almost four years now, and it really been somthing "Mythical", also I started hearing their podcast "Ear Biscuits" so reading this was finally having something written by this guys. The book is really funny, and shows how a good friendship can change your life. And how hard work can make anything happen. I can´t really be full objective here, I´ve been watching GMM for almost fou...

I can’t say my life is changed by this book, but I’m happy I bought it. It’s everything a YouTuber book has come to be: small chapters of almost advice, mostly storytelling, some boring, some good. I loved the chapter about their wives, and about their pets because it felt more genuine and I enjoyed reading them. Overall, if you’re not a mythical beast, I wouldn’t pick up this book.

I love Rhett & Link. I watch GMM every morning, listen to their Ear Biscuits, and am seeing their tour this weekend...so I am definitely a Mythical Beast, and very biased towards this book. But it was great learning more about them and their history growing up. I laughed out loud many times! Definitely recommend reading this book!!

I thoroughly enjoyed this. It was a great insight into the two of the most entertaining and least offensive people who inhabit YouTube space. All the stories and friendship moments were funny, heartfelt and interesting. I read this as an ebook which worked but I think it would be a better experience with a hardback copy.

    I. Loved. This. Book. As a longtime fan of Rhett and Link I may be biased in saying this, so you might want to get to know these YouTubers before diving into the book to really appreciate the humor... but I felt like this book wasn’t just a book of their life stories or just a humor focused book, but both entwined along with a message to impart to their readers: to be your mythical best. I felt so creatively invigorated I wanted to go out and d...

My husband and I are fans of Rhett and Link. We listened to the audiobook on a road trip. It made the miles fly. We laughed and were highly entertained (and inspired) the entire duration of the book.
