I liked this story a lot, particularly the characters. Looking forward to finding out more about them all in the next book. There was a lot going on in this book, it isn’t what I’d call an ‘easy’ read, it is complex and gripping.

Brynn of Haversey is a spirit whisperer. She has the ability to see and speak to the dead, she can send them to the afterlife. Brynn is a beautiful, curvy small half-breed angel with wings twice her size causing her to be a walking accident. Two left feet doesn't begin to describe her endearing clumsiness. She's an average whisperer who has applied to the prestigious Royal College each year since she reached the age to attend. Each year she has b...

OMG! You can’t end a book there! It just isn’t right!Brynn is a spirit whisperer trying to get into the Royal College with her handler, Jasinda. They were on their last ditch effort to try and get acceptance when Brynn’s entire life is flipped on its axis. She learns thing about herself she never knew, has a Ghost constantly following her now, and an impossible seeming task to perform. However, this task becomes the single most important thing...

This book broke me. And I mean that in the absolute best way possible. After I finished Spirited, I literally stared at my kindle screen wondering when I can get my greedy hands on the next book, because I needed it. I needed it. Spirited introduces us to not only a new realm, but a new (to me, at least) type of characters: spirit whisperers, shadow whisperers, and those who wield magic(k) in ways I've never read about before. I was spellbound. A...

Alright, I have mixed feeling about this one. Things I liked for sure : The unusual world interpretation mixed with (our) world mythology and objects - mainly referring to the Japanese Katana and Yokai - as well as the concept of angels, demigods etc. and the idea of being able to see ghosts right after they die. Apart from that, how the mc met the ghosts and the boys from her harem. Only by the end of the book, we were presented with other chara...

Holy ship! Spirited exceeded my expectations and then some. Not only has this book become my favorite of C.M. Stunich’s (which is saying something because I adore Allison and Groupie), but the heroine is probably one of my all-time favorites out of all the books I have read up to this point. And the men in this book!! I seriously have no idea how Stunich has written 70+ books, and yet in every single one, all of her men (and women) have distinc...

4.5 StarsI've been excited for this book since the author first teased it months ago, and I was not disappointed! I tend to rate reverse harem (RH) books on a personal bell curve I have just for RH books, and this author always is always solidly at the top of the curve for me. I probably still like this author's Rock Hard Beautiful series best of all, but it's a tough call. This is the first book in a paranormal RH series, and it is a full-length ...

Holy flubbing ship!! I LOVED this book!! From start to finish, it was so fun, different, exciting, sweet, and sexy! All rolled into one exquisite package! The characters were unique and all their own. They each had depth, without an insane amount of boring backlog details but enough to really bring them to life. The realm was complete, the information provided able to really give the reader a feel for the world. And the storyline was simply prefe...

Soooo good! Loved it!!!Absolutely loved ‘Spirited’!!! I anxiously awaited this book, and it was well worth the wait! Brynn is one of my favorite characters!! I love that she is a spirit whisperer double-blessed! I really love all her men in her soon-to-be harem. Elijah is definitely my favorite right now, followed closely by Air and Vex. Talon is hilarious and I’m eager to see more of him. Dyre and Spicer are also interesting and I can’t ...

PotentialThis was a really good book, though it took quite awhile for me to get into it. There were lots of missed editing mistakes I found, and in my opinion, Brynn’s “non-cussing” cussing in the beginning was overdone. I certainly have my own potty mouth, so nothing against swearing! Other than that, I really enjoyed this book, and it could be 5 stars if the errors were fixed and the “flubbing” and “blitzing” toned down just a tad...

Favorite book this year!!!This book is just awesome! They live in a land where women having reverse harems is the usual and people that can see, talk to, and exorcise ghosts is normal as well. The MC is a half human half angel, clumsy, ghost whisperer. It starts off with her meeting a ghost and accidentally binding him to herself. Turns out he has important information for the Queen so is taken along to the palace. As the story moves along we mee...

CHARACTERS: 5 OUT OF 5PLOT: 5 OUT OF 5WORLD BUILDING: 4 OUT OF 5FLOW: 4.5 OUT OF 5OVERALL RATING: (ACTUAL) - 4.5 OUT OF 5The characters in this book were fun. I loved how the MC would not curse and how she got around that, some of the substitutes were really funny and in places I found myself laughing out loud. The guys were all uniquely different and it was nice to see how the MC played off them. The descriptives of the MC were great, the image ...

Aaaand she did it again. C. M. Stunich has managed to write another cool book that you can't help but get sucked into. Yeah, at first I wasn't sure about it. The beginning was rather confusing for me, mainly because I didn't fully understand the world building and how things work here. So at first, most of my attention was focused on trying to wrap my head around everything that was happening and making some sense of it all. But the events kept t...

So good! One if my favorite RH authorsFirst I have to say Cliffhanger warning. I knew going in and if I hadn't known I would have been even more upset than I already was. I enjoyed this one. I'm a but fuzzy on a few technical details if the world but I think all of that will be explained as the story goes on. There are only a few female characters, the bitchy competition, the best friend (I liked that she was the slightly booky one..I've noticed ...

I’ve been anxiously waiting to read this since I first read a teaser of it and it did not disappoint !! Another world written by CM Stunich that drew my in by the first chapter, and didn’t let go until that shocking cliffhanger. Spirited is based on a beautiful but clumsy black winged half-breed angel ‘Brynn’ who is a spirit whisperer and her harem of boys. This is the first in the series, giving us an introduction to the world and charac...

Holy Crap! I wasn’t sure how I was going to like this book, as ghosts and the like aren’t typically my thing, but since it’s CM Stunich, I decided to give it a go. And by all that is good, am I glad I did. I was immediately sucked into Brynn’s story and her clumsy plight. The author is a pro at both bringing out the feels and writing an amazingly unique story, and she does both here phenomenally well. I’m anxious to learn secrets that a...

I have been waiting for this book since it was first announced. The concept was cool and unique and it more than lived up to my expectations. Brynn is a clumsy half - angel who has never been able to live up to the expectations of her peers or those in charge of the academy. Over the course of the book, we get to meet the six men whose lives are becoming woven with hers. This book was incredible. I kind of hate that I have to wait for more becaus...

I have been waiting for this book since CM teased us with it back last summer and she did not disappoint!! I absolutely flubbing loved Brynn and her friends and harem. I love how different this book felt, the idea/nuances was so new and fresh for me. Definitely #1 book I've read so far in 2018.Im not going to go into details because you really need to read this book. I started squealing at work about Vex and I might have a new book bf/crush on El...

    C. M. Stunich is one of my favorite authors and I have been looking forward to this book for awhile. I think between the beautiful cover and my anticipation, expectations were high. I wish the book description was a little more vague because some of those six ghostly boyfriends were alive when I started the book and I kept anticipating when they were going to die. Most of the book leads up to Brynn attending school and feels more like an introduc...

Great beginning. I always love CM books because the stories are fantastic and never rushed. Though the true antagonist doesn’t come out until the end I breezed through this book in a couple hours. As any fantasy book is, there is always a lot of set up world building, factions, introductions. This book does all that but not horribly descriptive or boring- it’s something you can jump right into. As far as reverse harem books go, this was a gre...

This book had a lot going for it and a lot going on. I like the perspective of whisperers and ghosts. The thing is struggled with was not fully connecting with the characters. At times I had to turn back and work out whose POV I was reading from. I think this was mainly to do with so much going on that the character development suffered. I was having to piece so much together from the events. I really wanted to know more about Elijah and it would...

I don’t know how C.M Stunich keeps doing it. she takes an idea/story/concept I didn’t know I wanted to read about and makes me love it, want to bed for more, while wondering how I lived without this book in my life. The concept of the book was cool and unique. With short, shadows, spirit whisperers and more the author pulls us into a world you want to know more about. It’s a great flubbing book. I can’t wait to read book two, especially w...

Oh ship.Ship. Ship. flubbing ship. This book was phenomenal. Brynn is amazing. I love how unique her personality is. As the story unfolds she continues to add more men to her like a magnet on a fridge, although I am not sure I like them all yet, but I certainly lovvveee Vex, Elijah and Air. The end wasn’t as bad as some endings I’ve recently read but it certainly was a bit of a doozy. Can’t wait for the next book!

Absolutely amazing This is, hands down , the best book this author has written. Every single thing about this book is excellent. I cant even offer constructive criticism (ok MAYBE there were a few errors, but they did not detract from the story at all). I ADORED all the characters. Usually 6 is too many guys in an RH, but I really did feel like each guy had a very distinct personality. I truly cannot wait for the next book!!

Wow!!!Another great book from CM Stunich! I am so excited about this series. She writes so well that you are pulled into the world she has created-- you learn to love the hot heroes, feel the good and the bad feeling with the heroine, cry, laugh, and be on the edge of your seat as the action unfolds. This was an amazing start to a new series. I can't wait for the next book to see what happens next!

Wow! 5☆'sI was left in AW at the end of this book. I absolutely love pretty much everything C.M. writes, I think this might be my favorite so far. This book will captivate you from the very start and you will read & read until you finally finish, then you will have to take a minute to process the last chapter. Then preorder the next book right away because you can't wait to see what will happen next.

This book is simply fabulous and has left me in a major book coma!Packed full of action excitement magic and danger I was hooked from the start and left me wanting moreBrynn is a spirit whisperer and seems to draw spirits to her without even realising it.
