You've heard it before: I'm a HUGE fan of Goosebumps. I have been my entire life. Literally. I still buy all the new books and reread the originals whenever the mood strikes me. So when I heard there was going to be a new Goosebumps comic, I was looking forward to it. I kept my hopes low, but it's still exciting to see new Goosebumps stories being created. I was a little disappointed by this volume. Much like previous attempts to transition Goosebumps to comic format, there's just something missing here. The story and characters were under developed and uninteresting, and... I dunno... the art was a little too cartoony. I get that its intended for children, but... when I was a kid, I craved scary. and this... this would not have done it.
