Ruby's world has changed more than she ever could have imagined. She's in love with a powerful Frost King. She's the heir to the Fire Throne. And she may be a Nightblood--the spawn of a vengeful deity hellbent on releasing his wraithlike Minax from their prison. Once freed, these beasts will roam the earth, devouring every last person until he or she is nothing but an empty husk. But Ruby is able to control the Minax to a degree, and now she, her...

Thank you, Hachette Book Group, for giving me a finished copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.Ice no longer scared me. Its facets were beautiful, especially when it caught and held the vibrancy of flame. It's time to say farewell to a great fantasy series. Ruby and Arcus deserve to be happy after everything they went through. Basically, my thoughts on the trilogy are as follows: Frostblood was okay, Fireblood was addicting, and Night...

Full Review First of all, I used to really ship Arcus and Ruby but it was clear that he loved her more than she loved him. I just felt bad for him in this and thought that he deserved better. Secondly, the book read like it was the second to the last book and not the last. Majority is spent making sure something bad doesn't happen. I expected more action from this. This had more relationship drama than actual drama. Don't get me wrong, I love rel...

So impatient I want this now!!! Ruby and Arcus all the way!! Also is he the child of light?? This book did not disappoint I loved it. I loved the way the relationships were written. A beautiful ending to a wonderful story.

This book freed me from the biggest reading slump of my life, so I think it is fair to say that I absolutely loved it!!(Really am not a fan of this cover though... :( )Ruby and Arcus are both two of the biggest idiots in the existence of literature, with like 100000 insecurities each and SO MUCH BAD DECISION MAKING so obviously I ship them like 300%!!! Every scene with them had far too much cringe and too much drama and I was so over that... BUT ...

Really good finale to this series. I love the Gods aspect to this one a lot more than in did in the previous two book. Ruby, Arcus, & Kia took this finale to awesome heights and give readers a satisfying conclusion. Everything really wraps up in this book with not only the main characters but we get more on the sub-characters. My quick and simple overall: great finale that helped me get a little more out of my reading slump.

3.5 starsNIGHTBLOOD was a satisfying end to what has been a great series overall. There was plenty of dramatic action, a consistent plot tethering the previous books with some new aspects added in. The crop of characters in this series have become beloved companions: Arcus, Ruby, Kai, Brother Thistle to name a few. It is these characters that make this series memorable.Ruby took me on an up and down journey in this book, sometimes I was frustrate...

Nightblood is the final book in the Frostblood series by Elly Blake and I have been waiting to get this book in my hands since I turned the last page of the second book. If you haven’t started this series, now is a great time for you to pick it up since it is finished, and you won’t have to have an agonizing wait between books. No spoilers here for this book but I can’t promise anything for the first two.Nightblood picks up shortly after Fi...

When I started the Frostblood saga, the first two books were already out so I devoured them one after the other. Having to wait for the third book after the cliffhanger in Fireblood was torture. I couldn’t wait to dive in when Nightblood was finally, finally released.First off, I love all the covers in the trilogy. They’re so cool and they fit each story like a glove, especially Nightblood, which showcases the darker tone of the story and Rub...

This is such a satisfying finale book! Everything wrap up together nicely.. every questions on the previous books answered on this book. I love how this series own the right amount of magic and romance.Ruby still annoyed and frustrated me but in the end I like her still, while Arcus.. no word… I JUST LOVE THIS GUY! The banter between Kai and Ruby were so much fun too!Wish Elly Blake will write more books in the future

*Source* Library*Genre* Young Adult / Fantasy*Rating* 3.5-4*Thoughts*Nightblood is the third and final installment in author Elly Blake's Frostblood Saga. The gauntlet has thrown down, the pieces on the board are moving into place, the evil that threatens the world is eager to make Fireblood Princess Ruby Ottera his own, and a Minax that lies with Ruby is pushing her into becoming someone she doesn't recognize. Can Ruby and her allies, Frostblood...

4.5 stars...One of the things I appreciate about this series is that all three books were equally good and this final book was wrapped up nicely.Besides Ruby, Kai was my favorite character so I was really glad that everything worked out for the both of them in the end.

I'm leaning towards 3.5 stars on this final book of the Frostblood Trilogy. Good ending to round out the series, but there were some convenient plot threads too easily resolved and it dragged its heels through certain points of the conflict to the point where I felt like "less focus on the love triangle, more focus on the actual plot". The story didn't tug at my heartstrings as much as I was hoping it would, and I think it might boil down to how ...

4.25/5 StarsEnding up my favorite of the three, NIGHTBLOOD is the conclusion to this trilogy that I so hoped for. This finale was everything I desired in the wrapping up of this narrative. Ruby faced the most danger and tension than any other point throughout the trilogy, and there was never a dull moment. Because FIREBLOOD left off right where NIGHTBLOOD begins, the flow between books is seamless. Ruby’s reunification with Arcus at the end of ...

This book wraps up the Frostblood saga and actually does it in style. This finale puts Ruby through the mill but as she discovers a strength that’s pretty staggering I’m guessing that fans of this series will be hollering with delight. This author did bring a triangle into these books with Ruby torn between the Frost King and the Prince of the Fire throne ( who is technically her betrothed) so I’m not sure if the outcome will please all as ...

I couldn’t have asked for a better end to this series - it has cemented its place as one of my favourite series of all time. It truly has everything; a kickass heroine, sizzling romance, intricate mythology, witty banter and heart pounding adventure. Ruby continues to be passionate and hot headed, and I absolutely adore her for it. She struggles increasingly with the Minax possession, which, while it was frustrating to read, I did appreciate in...

I’d pretty much entirely forgotten what happened in the past two books BUT I still had a pretty good sense as to what was happening throughout the book. Even though it’s super cliche and full of tropes, I really enjoyed this series as a whole. The characters are fun and loveable and the plot is pretty engaging.

I can’t believe this series is over already. Where did the time go? WHERE? *sobs*While I don’t see it winning any awards for being The Most Original YA Series Ever, it was a pretty good story overall. This series has been consistent from the beginning. The things that I liked at the start, I still liked at the end. - The narration is extremely good.- The banter is GLORIOUS AF, has been from book 1.- The chemistry between the two leads is fant...

Today is a bitter sweet day... I couldn't wait for this book, and now that I have finished reading it I am undoubtedly sad it is over. It was an awesome ride! Ruby, Arcus, and Kai together with the secondary characters were all amazing and it is sad this is the end of their journey. Kai deserves a story of his own for sure. This series has a special place in my heart and will definitely be worth a reread someday. For the full review and more Subsc...

Oh my gosh I loved this book so much and I'm so sad to see that the series came to an end! Its beautifully written and had some unexpected twists and turns! I don't want to spoil anything so all I'll say is that I am very happy with how it ended

I always find the last book in a series is the hardest to talk about. Nightblood, the highly anticipated finale to the Frostblood Saga, definitely had me struggling for words. I have good thoughts and some hesitancies.A huge part of the story is based on the folklore of the world (which I absolutely loved). It plays a bigger role (literally) in Nightblood than any of the other books in the series. The appearance of (view spoiler)[the gods (hide s...

Same Review Also Posted On My Blog: Dreamy AddictionsNightblood was a perfect conclusion to the frostblood Saga. The second book Fireblood had ended with a surprising twist and since then, I've been eagerly waiting for this finale. Despite the tropes, this series was very much entertaining so far and it never left me disappointed. The whole journey was a fun ride filled with action, adventure, drama, magic, and romance. I loved Ruby, Arcus, and K...

This review MAY contain spoilers. Read at your own risk. This was a very satisfying conclusion to the Frostblood Saga! The ending really does the series justice. I had been highly anticipating this final book of this series since I finished Fireblood, and I am glad that it did not disappoint. While there weren't many new locations in the story from the first two books, the world building stayed the course. The reader definitely felt the cold in Tem...

For this review and many others, please visit - https://bionicbookwormblog.wordpress.comWow! This was a solid completion to a series! In fact, this might have been the strongest book of the series! It seemed to take all of my favourite elements that were presented in books 1 and 2 and elevated them to form this amazing conclusion. Please remember that this is book 3 in a series. I won’t be spoiling this book, but you may be spoiled for books 1 ...
