Whispers from the Dead (The Veil Diaries, #4)

Hi, I’m Alexis Delaney. I’m your average 17-year-old girl. Except I can see the dead. And talk to the dead and help them move on. So… okay, I’m not your average 17-year-old girl. The Veil is still shut. Which means the dead can’t move on, not on their own. Through my Link to the Veil, I’ve been able to start helping souls to cross. The Veil is changing, healing. Like I am.Since I came home from the hospital, I’ve been hiding behind ...

This is when a time machine would come in handy. Jump a couple years in the future get all the books downloaded and then pop back to present time with the whole series. BOOM! Instant happiness 😁.

Is anyone else not surprised that this book is amazing? B. L. Brunnemer has done it again with this next installment in her Veil Diaries series. I absolutely adored the chapters with Rory and the guys’ point of views though I was disappointed that this book was waaaayyy shorter than the others. I guess all I have left to say is....when is the next book coming out??? Brunnemer’s made me an addict of her series and let me tell you this-I don’...

VABBÈ DOV'È IL QUINTO LIBRO? DOVE?!

Reviewed by [email protected] Stars ReviewsLexi is working hard to getting souls to cross over while working on fixing the Veil. It is a slow processes, but it is working so far. That is until she starts to have issues and she starts keeping things from the guys. The guys are having issues as well, and she is still trying to get over a lot of things that happened in the previous book. She has a lot to do and a lot to get done, but she may be destr...

Makes the ghosts go awayI truly enjoyed this series so far and to find out its a 15 book series...I was in love! The series is said to end with high school and will continue after into a new series! I can't wait! I have found another writer to adore!Ok now my review because this series sure as hell deserves one! I love each and every book cover in this series so far! I have only read books 1-4. I love Ethan,Issac, Miles, Asher, Zeke and Lexie! Th...

It was OKPlenty of PTSD, pouting, posturing and other lame behaviors with very little advancement of the story line. One kiss in murky circumstances not acknowledged by either party. The girl annoyed the heck out of me by being winy sissy without an iota of personal courage in terms of acknowledging her feelings. Lame.

So looking forward for the next installment!

Whispers From The Dead is book 3.5/4. We pick up alittle time from where When to Fear The Living leaves off. Lexi has been trying to deal with the psychological effects of the attack. She is trying so hard to get her life back on track without fear. But with Zeke, Isaac, Miles, Ethan and Asher there to help guide her when ever they are needed, she is slowly getting her life back. She is also dealing with the dead. They are getting more pushy in t...

I'm so frickin' confused! Is this book 3.5 or 4?! It was originally listed as 3.5 on Goodreads but then when it was released on Amazon they had it as book 4. However, when I started reading the book I immediately noticed it was shorter than previous installments so I finally concluded that it was just a really long novella. But then someone changed it on Goodreads to book 4! Face meet Palm.I figured okay, maybe this time it's just a shorter, but ...

This series is good and I fly through them but I just feel like it is so damn slow. At least no one was dating anyone else in this book. That was my major issue with the other books.

Waited till midnight to download the book from amazon so when it didn't come through straight away I got impatient and bought it off of iBooks instead 😂 so yeah, I paid for two copies 😂 anyway, I'm finished now and wanting the next one so ... 😢 I wish it was longer !!!! 😢😢

Alexis is still annoying but the story is enjoyable anyway.

Amazing 😉 What can I say.... it’s an awesome read. Awesome series and this continuation puts lots of thing to rest as well as brings in new material for potential new story lines. I can’t wait to see what the author goes with this. Can’t wait for Lexie to be with her guys all together :)

Best one yet! Love Just love Lexi and the guys! Such a great story, cried and laughed my way through this book. Love this series and can not wait for next book.

Amazing! As always, B L Brunnemer leaves me wanting more....she is such an amazing author in the way that she pulls you into her world through words.

I think I would have preferred to wait for a full book, rather than get a shorter one now. While still a nice read, this one fell short compared to previous books in the series.I do not want to demean what an assault victim feels, but in this case I would have preferred Lexie coping with the aftermath of an assault while solving mysteries of the Veil and not vice versa. It felt as if the author chose to leave the main thread of the series and foc...

Gosh it just keeps getting better!!This series just keeps getting better! My only complaint? That I need to wait for the next book!!! I am not a patient person!! LOL! This series is the true definition of a slow burn Reverse Harem series! The author is so very talented, developing her characters over the course of the last few books, as opposed to throwing their nature at you too suddenly!! Alexis is an amazing protagonist and heroine! She's equa...

This book, Whispers From The Dead is just more. The Veil Diaries is just more. When is a hug more than a hug? When it's between the Tough guy and Baby. When is a kiss more than just a kiss? When it comes from any one of the guys. When is a dog more than just a dog? When it's Hades. When is a high school mean girl more than just a bit**? When it's Jessica (or Tara). See what I mean or should I go on? This book/this series is just more, it's everyt...

“Rule One of being friends with guys: don’t get caught drooling.”Well, that was entirely too short. I need a couple hundreds pages more. Or like another book. Yes, another book would be great. Unless it's also too short, then it won't do. In all seriousness, I loved it. I mean, how could I not? The story gets better and better with every new book and I don't think I'll ever get enough.I like that Lexie is finally starting to admit (at least...

Book 4 of the Veil Diaries was a bit shorter than the others in the series, mostly dealing with Lexie recovering from the previous book and, now that the Veil is healing, getting Sophie to cross. This book dealt with a lot of problems that were very necessary to address. It is now April and Lexie is suffering from PTSD from the incidents that occurred four months earlier (this book jumps from January in Book 3 to April in this book). She makes pr...

I honestly could not have loved this book anymore than I do right now. Seeing this vulnerable side to Lexie as she navigated the murky waters of healing from a traumatic story was gritty honest and genuine. Had Lexie just bounced right back without any time to relearn what it meant to feel safe again it wouldn't have felt honest and true to her character. This book showed EXACTLY how strong Lexie truly is and how strong the bond between herself a...

This series is a good first timer RH series, I have read some complaints that it is not a TRUE RH. I love the way B.L. Brunnermer is building up to a potential full RH relationship between the Guys and Lexie. Taking into consideration that they are still in high school, I am enjoying the pace of their relationships. I cant wait to see WHAT becomes of them. During "Imposter Lexie's" first appearance, that if she let go of what's normal THEY could ...

OmgOmg, I just binged this whole series and of course there's still more to the series. I need so much more I'm dying! On the other hand, I'm thrilled there's more. I need everyone to come clean about there feelings and I totally need more smoochie scenes. As a practicing witch, I'd love to offer magical insight during the writing process. For example, remember that Rohan wood is good for spiritual protection and purging of poltergeists. Or carry...
