Gone for You (Sixth Street Bands, #1)

As the guitarist for the rock band Caged, I know the rules: no relationships. No complications. Leave ‘em smiling when you go, but always go. Besides, it’s not like I’m ever in one place for more than a few days at a time. As the next hottest thing out of Austin, the band and me are riding the wave, and the music is all that matters. Until her…Lily Tennison has “complication” written across her beautiful face. But I can’t get involv...

Gone for You was the first book in the Sixth Street Bands series by Jayne Frost.Cameron Knight was the gorgeous guitarist for the rock band Caged. He was a one night no strings attached guy. Until he met Lily.Lily Tennyson was a student who also worked two jobs to keep afloat, one of which was at an upscale hotel. She was assigned to the band Caged while they were there for a few days incognito to ensure all their needs where met and the public s...

Meh! Coulda - shoulda - woulda type of scenario. Just not much to this one. Story sagged and never really grabbed my attention. And the characters were less than convincing. I had a very hard time getting through to the end. It felt really juvenile and meaningless.

I received a free eARC copy of this book in exchange for an honest review. Thank you!"Gone for You," the first book in the Sixth Street Band Series by Jayne Frost, was amazing and I absolutely loved it! I liked that it wasn't too long or too short, but just right. I read it in under two days and enjoyed every minute of it. Cameron Knight and Lily Tennison were wonderful main characters, and I loved their personalities and chemistry together. They...

Check out more reviews at Little Miss Bookmark!Lily has a great job at a resort in Dallas. She had no idea what she was in for when this famous guitarist walks into her life. Cameron Knight looked like nothing but trouble but what was wrong with finding out just how much trouble he could be. I'll just cut to the chase about Gone for You. I struggled with the rating on this one, I didn't know whether to give it one or two stars. Harsh, right? I ju...

A copy of this book was received in exchange for an honest review.Cameron Knight, lead guitarist for the band Caged, lives the good life. Caged’s fame is on the rise, his pick of the ladies is endless, and his bandmates are his best friends. When the bassist for Caged is involved in an accident in Dallas, the news spreads like wildfire, and the hotel where the band is staying is swamped with fans willing to make all their “troubles” disappe...

    * * * A copy of this book was received in exchange for an honest review * * *Jayne Frost's Gone For You is the first book in the Sixth Street Band series and I really enjoyed Cameron and Lily's story. This was actually my first read by the author and I'm definitely intrigued by her. The book immediately thrusts readers into the mind of Cameron Knight, our main hero, and I was frankly overwhelmed at first. I initially felt no connection to the s...

Wrong in all the right ways...Gone For You was my introduction to this author and I'm happy to say it was a pleasure. I'm thrilled that I got in during the beginning of the series and I'm not frantically trying to play catch up as I seem to always be doing. While I enjoyed the chemistry between Cameron and Lily that wasn't what totally sold me on the series. It's the chemistry between the Caged band members that had me ready to stow away on their...

“‘Before you get all starry eyed, you should know I haven’t had a girlfriend since the eleventh grade. So I probably suck at it.’”Cameron Noble, known to his fans as Cameron Knight, is the guitarist in a Texas rock band, Caged. Feel free to get starry eyed though because Cameron is such a cutie, and while he didn’t used to do the dating thing, he sure is sweet, sexy, and chivalrous about it when he meets Lily Tennison.Lily might just ...

This is first in the series of The Sixth Street Band. I always like a good rock romance and this book let you take a little look at the life of these bandmates on the road. Cameron was the typical rocker with women at his disposal and that reputation followed him which he was fine with until he meets Lily. The author gives you plenty of humor and steamy scenes to keep it interesting.I received this book as an ARC from NetGalley for a freely given...

Rockstar romances are my Achilles heels. It’s actually a tall order for an author to woo me with a romance involving rockstars. I’m glad to say – this one fits the bill.Cameron is a very confident man and he has to use all his charm and wit to win Lily over. He’s not like the girls that fall to his feet. She’s got sass and integrity and keeps him at bay. He has to work to prove that he’s not like the tabloids say he is. Only thing is,...

Gone For You is a rockstar romance that captured my attention right from the start, and even though it falls into the insta-love category, everything about how Lily and Cameron meet and fall for each other is just perfect. I’ll be honest—I went into this thinking I was going to be reading just another rockstar book, something to pass the time and keep me entertained…and finished with this being one of my favorites in that category. Consider...

3.5 out of 5 Stars Liked it!In the world of Rock 'N Roll it is best to be free of relationships. With all the travel, groupies, and other temptations along the way, it is very hard to maintain the intimacy and care needed. Also, Cameron lived through his father's betrayal to his mom and family. That man only ever thought about achieving fame and glory. No wonder he walked away from his family!Nothing prepared him for the impact meeting Lily would...

3 1/2 starsCameron is the guitarist for Caged, a rock band based out of Texas. He’s used to having his choice of women, all more than willing to throw themselves at him for a one-nighter. When a traffic accident involving Caged’s drummer occurs, Cameron has to stay at an exclusive spa before his next big concert. He meets Lily, a competent, hard-working student who is very different from the women he usually meets. He’s intrigued by her and...

This is the story of Cameron and Lily. Cameron is in a popular band and used to getting what he wants. Lily is a young woman estranged from her rich family, working her way through college. Their lives are very different. Jayne Frost does a wonderful job telling this story and bringing it all together for a happy ending! I loved this book and look forward to more from this author.

This was just ok. Nothing spectacular. It didn't feel fully fleshed out, and the ending was pretty rushed and rough.

This was the first book of Jayne Frost's that I had read. But it certainly won't be the last. I'm already hooked on the Sixth Street Band Series after just one book! I was very impressed with how well the book was written and the story and characters developed. It's great when a book gets you interested in the first three pages.Cameron (Nobel) Knight, a member of the band Caged, "the next big thing" from Austin, Texas has had his pick of girls an...

this was a great read. I loved Lily and Cameron and the fact it was told in a male pov. The story was real, Jayne had great characters that had flaws, but yet to me they were perfect. Cameron and Lily had a connection right off , but Lily was going to make him work for it. I loved it.

This is the first book I've read from this author and I loved it! Cameron and Lily were such a fun, sweet and sexy couple to read about. Cameron was the sexy, bad boy rocker playboy and Lily was the sweet, gorgeous artist that caught his attention. Definitely a must read!

Gone for You is the first book in the Sixth Street Bands series by Jayne Frost. It centers around rock star guitarist Cameron of the band Caged and disowned by her family socialite Lily. When Cameron and the rest of his band stay at The Mansion to escape the press, he meets the Mansion's event coordinator Lily and is instantly attracted to her. Cameron makes it his mission to get Lily in his bed, but when he does, he's suddenly faced with wanting...

It's books like this that is making me fall for romance novels. It was incredibly amazing and hot! There was a good storyline and a happy ending -no pun intended. Cameron is the singer in a rock band trying to escape the media for a few days. When he goes to a resort that Lily works at, things start to change. What was intended to be a fling was turning into something else entirely. He doesn't do relationships, he's a rockstar after all but Lily ...
