Love Defined is another incredible book from sisters Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird. After reading and loving their first book, Girl Defined, I was beyond excited to read a book from them about love and relationships. And, oh, I was not disappointed. With honesty, humor, wisdom, and real-life examples, Kristen and Bethany present a Biblically-sound and beautiful Christian Living book on navigating the world of romance.I so enjoyed reading this b...

This is honestly one of the best books I have ever read! It answers pretty much every question any single girl would have. So solid, full of wisdom, and practical. Every single girl should read it!

What an absolutely lovely book! Both Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird gave such great wisdom and insight through this book and I feel so excited to be able to write this review. What I Liked: I was busy reading other books by the time this book came out, but I received a free audio book from Christian Audio for pre-ordering Love Defined: Embracing God's Vision for Lasting Love and Satisfying Relationships and so I happily listened to it while going...

I had the privilege of being on the book launch team for "Love Defined" and I am so glad I got to be a part of sharing this book and all that it has to teach us! I absolutely LOVED this book! I am someone who thoroughly reads any book focused on how to approach God honoring relationships from a Biblical perspective, and this book was such a fabulous asset to reaffirming the beliefs I have in regards to relationships. I love that the book is so co...

As a whole, I didn't like this book very much. This made me sad because I was really looking forward to this book. There were a few things I liked about it and a few chapters that I thought were spot on. I really liked what they said about how to know the guy you're with is "the one," and what red flags to look out for in a relationship. They also had a neat chapter with advice from married women in it.However, there were several times that they w...

I'm so excited to have been a part of the launch team for this book! I got this book a few weeks early in exchange for a review.First, the cover is gorgeous! It looks so beautiful on my shelf. But, onto the book. Kristen and Bethany were obviously very well educated on the subject and they did a great job explaining everything. This answered a lot of questions people are scared to ask. My favorite points where how they talked about why it's impor...

As a single christian woman entering my mid-twenties, I am always looking and searching for guidance to help me define how to find true love and romance, but in a God-honoring way. Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird of Girl Defined Ministries, know singleness and relationships and how to define those topics by God's design. In today's world of high percentages of divorces and Hollywood's lies that they show us in TV and movies it can make love and r...

It was refreshing to read a book filled with balance. So many Christian books have a “Do A and B, and you’ll find a godly man.” Love Defined strikes a beautiful harmony of shedding light on cultural lies we swallow, and yet not adding to what Christ actually commands in His word. This book was also unique in the fact that it was written by a single and married gal. Well written, easy to read and engaging. Throughout the book, both perspecti...

This is actually quite a lovely book. It's primarily geared towards the young woman who is still looking for their forever mate. I made the assumption that this book would be good for someone currently in a relationship, or even married. That is not the case. This is primarily geared towards the single woman. That said, I did find the book to be fairly interesting. I do recall many a day when I wouldn't be focused on the sermon, but rather that...

Love Defined is a beautifully written book. It is interactive, down-to-earth, and so much fun to read. I recommend this to girls everywhere, no matter what stage of love life you're in. It is so important nowadays to remind ourselves of what God created love and romance to be. I am so thankful for Kristen and Bethany's wisdom and passion to share that wisdom with all of us.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading this book and learned a great deal about how to develop Godly relationships. Every young woman who feels called to marriage should read this! Kristen and Bethany did a fantastic job of sharing wisdom from past ages in a way that girls of today can easily understand and relate to.

I wish I would've had this book when I was in middle/high school. It's chock full of lessons that I wish I would've learned earlier in life. Great read! A must have for any young woman in your life.

As a Christian, single woman this book came at the perfect time for me! I've been following Girl Defined for some time now and I respect their opinion so much! When I found out that they were writing a book about having a God honoring love life, I knew I had to jump in on that!Whether you are married or single, a teenager or older adult, this book is good for any female who's ever had a crush, fallen in love, or had a broken heart.

Love Defined by Kristen Clark & Bethany BairdI was quite excited for this book as a single woman. However, it was an incredible disappointment throughout. There are the occasionally good moments but much of it is superficial, artificial and insincere. I don’t particular like their position that kissing and hugging is equal to sexual immorality and on the same level of premarital sex. They also suggest that is not “feminine” for a woman to m...

Love Defined is the latest book from sisters Kristen Clark and Bethany Baird, the founders of GirlDefined Ministries. I think I first became familiar with GirlDefined through blog posts Bethany wrote for the Lies Young Women Believe blog. I really enjoyed her writing and decided to follow GirlDefined on all of their social media channels. Bethany and Kristen are faithful to teach young women about what womanhood looks like Biblically and I'm so t...

I am someone who thoroughly enjoys pouring into books that delve into the topics that I am really struggling with right now in this season of life. For me, that includes books on dating biblically, and love defined relationships. Hence, why I immediately jumped on the chance to read this book, and was so excited to receive my copy. This book is incredible!!! I am so honored to be on the launch team for this book! As a book nerd, I always have somewhat unreasonably high expectations for any book I read. This one blew them out of the water. Kristen and Bethany did not skip a single detail writing this. God has given them such an amazing gift and they have used it in such a positive way through their ministry and their books. The chapters are very easy to understand, funny, an...

Oh how I wish this book was around when I was a teen who was just getting into the dating scene. Bethany and Kristen do a wonderful job of going through each phase of a relationship and offering lots of advice and wisdom. They offer a few things they’ve learned through their own experiences, things that others have learned through their experiences, and biblical truths to give a very well rounded view and perspective on love. I enjoyed that the...

I LOVED THIS BOOK! Every Christian woman (single, married, etc) should read this book. “Love Defined” isn’t just a how-to guide for navigating relationships as a Christian - it’s about rejecting today’s culture and embracing love DEFINED BY GOD. We mustn’t fall prey to the lies and misconceptions about romance in the world.Kristen and Bethany break down “modern romance” and why it doesn’t match up to God’s exquisite design for...

Simple, but practical and full of wisdom. This book offers us real life stories from married women and also single girls and encourages us to embrace God's vision for each season of our lives. It's so lovely! It felt as if I were drinking a cup of coffee and talking to Kristen and Bethany all the way through the pages, sharing biblical thoughts about love and relationships. I really love that their vision is based on the Bible and is also sensiti...

This is the first book I've read by Kristen and Bethany, and I was not disappointed!! It is packed from beginning to end with amazing advice, biblical references, and their own personal experiences to learn from. Getting to see these two women write a book on love from two different perspectives was fantastic! Bethany had amazing advice on singleness and how to thrive in that season. And Kristen's story was awesome, and very helpful for me (as I ...

I am almost finished with Love Defined and I can't recommend it enough! This is a book you should read BEFORE you ever enter into a serious relationship. And even if you've already been in a relationship or have already "made mistakes," (we all have) this book is still for you. Honestly, a book that prepares singles to approach romance in a way that bring God the glory is such a treasure.Challenge yourself to look into the mirror of God's Word an...

This book was absolutely the most honest and biblically based book I have ever read on this topic! Once I picked it up I didn’t want to put it down. This is one resource that I wish I had when I was in middle school! Had I read this book back then, I would have set myself up for much more God-honoring and satisfying teenage years and young adulthood. I got married right after I turned twenty and while I was blessed with an amazing Jesus loving ...

I really liked this book. At first I thought it would really benefit someone much younger than me, and while that's true, I enjoyed it as well. It was eye opening about my own approach in relationships and how I viewed certain things. When it's not God led, it wont work. Learn to have a fulfilling relationship when it's right. All of my relationships were duds so clearly, I didn't know any of this stuff. I suppose I did, but it is much easier to ...
