Full review when I'm at the laptop tomorrow.Righty, I liked this one quite a lot, it dealt with a very traumatic issue in a sensitive and informative way without over dramatising it or making things appear to be done for the sake of plot. Both Denver and Judah are sympathetic characters, even if they both carry baggage which makes them be a little introspective and, at times, self-absorbed, but the writing never makes the reader become bored of he...

4 StarsJudah and Denver meet at an open call for a singing show in New York City. Both are talented and have no trouble making it through the first set of auditions. Denver and Judah are attracted to one another, but Denver has suffered in a past relationship and Judah is hiding his past and not sure he can accept his sexuality.I love The Voice, and the show that Denver and Judah participated in is set up very similar to that, so I absolutely lov...

What I like about this authors is how she beautifully creates her totally flawed men. They have issues that should make them weak, unable to function in a mature relationship. But they discover their weaknesses don't define them. Their strengths do.Judah and Denver are two such men. Judah, buried in the closet of his own making. Denver, trying to recover from a brutal relationship. They have nothing in common except music. The competition brings ...

This is such a great book, I couldn’t put it down. The story is captivating, the characters are complex and likable. The author sure knows how to pull on my heartstrings, my emotions were all over the place from anger, sadness, and hope. I adore these characters and watching their journey unfold. I look forward to reading more from this author in the future.I received a copy of this book from the author, my review has been voluntarily submitted...

I really enjoyed this book. Both characters are flawed but human. Learning to communicate in all the different ways people communicate is hard but Judah was determined and just what Denver needed. However, the ending was really abrupt and unsatisfying. I hope there is more coming and that it picks up from that ending. We went all that way with the boys, we deserved to see the outcome and how everything changes for them and how they handle it. I h...

Two more lovable main characters, you will not find. This author was new to the scene this year and to date, every word penned has been solid and each story a complete adventure, a journey you are happy to take. The Time of My Life is the story of two young men who met during the open auditions for a singing competition TV show, much one that you might find on television. The early attraction was mutual, one that both young men avoided, at differen...

Wow, what a fantastic book. So many emotions. Nora Phoenix did it again. She has quickly become one of my favorite authors. I love her writing. With a few lines, she sets the stage so that you feel you are a part of it.Once I started, I was completely lost in the book and oblivious to the outside world. This is such a page turner with surprises around every corner. She keeps you on your toes. Whether it is the suspense or the romance. She nails i...

Nora Phoenix is a relatively new author to me. I've only read her No Shame series up until this one. For No Shame, I was hooked. I loved how Ms. Phoenix was able to introduce her characters and ways of living. So when I saw The Time of My Life I immediately signed up to review. And I am glad that I did!!!This is an amazing story, that will keep you engrossed from start to finish. The characters, whether they are there to be liked or loathed, all r...

What an incredible story!! I loved everything about this book - the characters, the premise with the show, the relationship, and especially that ending! Denver and Judah are such complex characters. Their pasts and their issues are raw and real and dark and heartbreaking, but the way these two men help each other heal and grow is so incredibly beautiful. The relationship that blossoms is not instant, it’s not flawless, and it’s definitely not...

Another amazing book from Nora Phoenix, quickly becoming one of my favourite authors!Denver and Judah are wonderful MC's. Both with their own separate baggage and issues but when they come together, it's magic between them. I'm not normally a fan of talent show books but Nora's writing draws you straight into the story, wanting to know more about the characters and thinking about how they will develop together and alone. Denver is sweetness and l...

Wow..This is a beautiful story. The connection and fire between them is wow. I loved the hole story right through but especially the beautiful ending filled with emotions. I've not long discovered this author's book I'm so glad I did. Really hot sexy scenes included tooDenver is gorgeous but he's got a history and a crazy stalker ex pursuing him. While Judah is big and buff and innocent he's homeless. This is a story about striving what the past ...

3-3.5 starsI really enjoyed the setting and premise of this book, it was fresh and fun. The characters were lovable and mostly well done. Though Denver felt like a completely different character in the second half. But I still loved them, and their connection was off the charts. So much tension and chemistry, just them being on page together was enough to melt your device. The pacing was great, consistent and engaging, kept you turning the pages....

I absolutely adored this book. From start to finish, I COULD NOT put this one down!First, I LOVE singing competitions, so, whether the facts of the book are accurate, I don't even care, the fact that this is a love story between two contestants tuned competitors of said competition, I LOVED IT!Judah, poor, sweet, repressed Judah, Trying so very hard to be what his parents wanted and expected yet trying to live the life HE wants, but denying himse...

Denver and Judah learning to live and love is amazing! Great story-line, i really enjoyed the setting of the musical contest tv show. i am a fan of one of those and it was fun to see some of the similarities written about in this story. The books pacing was good and i found it a fun and engaging read. Characters are so well crafted that you can feel them and i laughed, cried and rejoiced with them. Denver and Judah both have things that they are ...

Romance behind the scenes of a televised talent search show (similar to “The Voice”). Judah is shunned by his orthodox Jewish family when he refuses to follow the expected path of devoted family man and religious leader. Instead, busks on street corners, crashes on couches and dreams of music.Denver teaches music to middle schoolers and has supportive parents. He also has a violent, stalker ex. Tired of living in fear and hiding his light, Na...

This was a cute story. I for some reason am always a little weary about reading books about musicians (I think because I have read so many) but this book did not disappoint, and it was different than a lot of the books out there. You could tell that these characters were young but it fit well with the plot and character development. There is definitely some angst in this book and the characters had to face some obstacles which I like in my books....

From Amazon:I had been looking at this title since it looked like it was music-based and was titled similar to one of my favorite songs from one of my favorite movies. I was right, and once I started, I couldn't put it down. The music references to all types of music, including the Dirty Dancing title song, the competition Denver and Judah faced as they go after their music careers dreams, and the imagery while they find love along the way set yo...

Nora Phoenix has done it again! She has gifted her readers with new characters to fall in love with and a storyline that half filled with the darkness of fear and loss and the other half is filled with a love that is all the better because of the fight it takes to grasp it. Denver and Judah are such complex characters, each fighting their way back to the light and finding it in each other's arms. I absolutely loved it."My life was so dark before ...

Nobody puts Denver in a corner A innocent hot rocker meets a wounded cute boy with a voice of an angel at an reality show/singing competition. That's Judah and Denver and from the moment they meet it's an instant attraction. As all of Noras books this one is a winner and has everything from romance and steamy sex to suspension and broken souls. And extra star for the last duett and the nod to one of my favourite movies. And since Nora always writes...

Beautifully written!! This is a new author to me and I absolutely will be reading more from her. This an emotionally charged book and my feelings ran the whole gamut- anger to sadness and finally hope and love. Denver and Judah are both flawed and broken. They both are musicians but have two completely contrasting personalities. Denver has a happy almost giddy personality with Judah is quiet and shy. They complement each other. When they get toge...

Amazing and incredible I have to admit that I have adored Nora’s books since the first one I read and this one is no exception. Judah and Denver are so unique with the backdrop of the competition just adding to their love. With dealing with Denver’s past and how it effects him now to Judah and how his strict upbringing has caused him to suppress his needs is magical. Nathan and Tim are wonderful secondary characters that I want more

I don't think 5 stars or telling you much I looooooooooved this book would cover it. I so enjoyed this and did not want it to end. I loved both Judah and Denver, and how wonderful they fit each other. Loved the whole premise of the book story. I will be definitely putting this in my reread library. Nora never disappoints with her stories. Thanks so much for the ARC was fun to read it before it was published.

Singing Your Way Into My HeartI loved everything about this book! The strongly developed characters. (The bodyguards were hot!) The well written dialogue. The romantic, sensual loving relationship. And the plot with its tension filled twists and turns. I just wished there were an epilogue 2-5 years out so I could see into their future.

A good readThis story caught my interest from page one . The romance builds along with their connection. Both main characters have baggage and it is compelling to watch their story unfold.

What a ride. A singing contest, 2 guys who couldn't be more opposite, who really aren't. Intrigue galore, sex and a really great story combine to make this a must read. Two big thumbs up on this one!

I really, really enjoyed Denver and Judah's story. I hope there is a follow up as I would very much like to see what happens in their music career. There is so much more to Judah's story that needs to be written.
