3.5 stars. The real shining jewel in this collection was the story by Nic Stone, a story about two black girls stuck in an airport during a snowstorm doing a scavenger hunt. Even in just a few short pages I felt deeply connected to both girls and I really love the fact that it wasn't just a serving of cheese; Nic Stone delves into racism and how it doesn't disappear when people of color happen to be wealthy, which is kind of a crap idea I've seen ...

I picked this up exclusively for Nic Stone's story, and it did not disappoint. Gay black girls stuck in an airport because of bad weather. Highly recommend

3.5 stars So this is an Anthology written in 4 stories about Christmas .. I liked most of them and here are my rating :) Snow and Mistletoe by Kasie West: I don't need to say anymore .. KAsie has the ability to make me so gooey from the inside and I laugh from how adorable are her stories .. it's a definite 5 stars for me because it was just so CUTE

I was expecting more from this and I’m pretty disappointed. I love Katie West’s story because, obviously. She’s my queen. The last story was atrocious and the other two were just okay.

First I'd like to note that my review is based on the ARC that I won during a book event (that yes involved one if the authors) I couldn't be more grateful about receiving this!I LOVED THIS SO MUCH!!! I would have read it in one day except I needed to comfort my dogs on 4th of July! So yes! I did have a Christmas in July! This book was so cute, and I was so involved with all the characters! I may have got a little teary eyed every once in a while...

Not sure what to rate this as a whole? Do I do majority: 5 stars or average: 4 stars? No idea. My heart wants 5 but better math says 4? Snow and Mistletoe by Kasie WestSoooo cuteeeee. I love a road trip. I love airports. I love friends. I love the popular boy plus semi shy girl trope. This was right up my alley. If someone was going to write me a boyfriend I might pick Kasie West. Five stars. Working in a Winter Wonderland by Aimee FriedmanThis w...

*3,7 stars*I loved Kasie West's story, which was a road trip with great characters. I loved the story by Nic Stones, which was about two girls doing a scavanger hunt in an airport, it was cute and it was told in an interesting format using text messages.  Amiee Friedman's story was okay, it was about a girl working in a department store during christmas, I didn't like that we got almost no time with the love interest because the plot went in a w...

“Snow and Mistletoe” is an adorable road trip trek full of playful banter, hilarious dares, and cute moments. Amalie was returning from a semester abroad and an aspiring opera singer, which definitely made her stand out as a YA main character. Sawyer was the perfect love interest, and all his friends only made me more entertained. One of my favorite characters was Sawyer’s sister, and I loved the Christmas deadline for their road trip and t...

I’ll discuss each of the stories individually since there were only four, but I will say as a whole it was a pretty cute anthology! I thought all the stories went well together and for the most part were good. For the first, I knew I would love it because Kasia West can write literally anything and I’ll love it. This story was no different, and it was so cute. I loved the concept of Sawyer liking Amalie for three years and them running into ea...

Perfect book to get into the Christmas spirit :) Featuring four short stories: Snow and Mistletoe by Kasie West5/5 stars.I bought this book basically because I really like Kasie West and this story was no disappointment. It was everything I was looking for - a sweet Christmas romance. Even though it was only 70 pages long the characters were well-rounded and lovable :)Working in a Winter Wonderland by Aimee Friedman. 4/5 stars. I've never heard o...

I’m giving this four stars because I feel like it’s worth reading just for Kasie West’s story. (Which is why I bought it.) I loved Snow and Mistletoe so much. The next two stories were kinda cheesy and predictable, but still fun, cute reads. Although The Magi’s Gift had me cringing at what I knew each character was doing. I was so uncomfortable for them and their bad choices. Overall I’m not even sure what the takeaway was there. Didn...

Snow and Mistletoe by Kasie WestReally liked this one. Predictable, but very cute. I also liked the spontaneous road trip aspect and the friendships that accompanied it. 4.5/5Working in a Winter Wonderland by Aimee FriedmanThis one ended in an unexpected way but in a very adorably good way. It was also interesting to see an MC who doesn't celebrate Christmas and finds the holiday season to be a bit overwhelming.3.8/5The Magi’s Gifts by Melissa ...

To be honest I only picked this up for more Kasie West content because even though she puts out two books a year I still need MORE.The two stars are for her short story "Snow and Mistletoe" because true to her style, IT WAS SO DANG CUTE. I found the other stories to be eye-roll worthy cheesy and the didn't enjoy the writing too much. I was originally going to just read Kasie West's story but figured that was a waste of my money since I paid full ...

I picked this up for the Kasie West story and lets just say it proved a point that Kasie West no doubt is always going to remain one of my favourite YA author.!The story was super sweet. it's a toad trip taken due to unseen circumstances caused by snow just 2 days before Christmas.! Lets just say it was the perfect YA as it involved finding yourself and add in bonus of finding good friends/boyfriends. And sharing with us that our family will alwa...

I love anthologies because I get to read stories by authors I haven't thought of before (and I often discover a new author I enjoy!). I'm not sure these stories are a good fit for the same reader base, but I could be wrong. I LOVED the Christmas story by Kasie West. It's so cute, sweet, and perfect. I didn't love other three stories after giving each a try, which is disappointing because I wanted to like them, but oh well. The last one was confus...

Not bad. Kasie West’s story was definitely my favorite, but I felt like it kinda went downhill from there. The last story was written weirdly, with big chunks of IM’s, and a second person narrative that felt awkward for the format. Oddly voyeuristic. I guess I like my stories more fleshed out than most of these were; Ms. West has better storytelling ability than her fellow authors. And she’s much better at dialogue as well. An okay book, bu...

I need to stop reading anthologies because there's always a few I don't mesh well with. In this case, the only story I really enjoyed was by Kasie West. The second story had an unbearable narrator and a sudden five page romance. The third had promise but was unrealistic. The fourth and final story seemed too convenient and we had no build up or exploration of potential feelings which was also a short coming of the second story.

Read for Kasie West's story, which was great and worth 5 starsand really. two of these stories were published before in another four story short-story holiday collection, so that really bothered me. why publish this with only two new ones or just only publish it with the two that are new, or I don't know, get two more authors to write something...

Snow in Love Ini berisi 4 cerita pendek sebelum Natal. Favorit aku Snow and Mistletoe by Kasie West dan Working in a Winter Wonderland by Aimee Friedman. The Magi's Gift by Melissa de La Cruz bikin terharu banget. Sedangkan Grounded by Nic Stone aku cukup menikmati ceritanya. Meski bagian sms2 aku skip karena ga terbaca saking kecilnya tulisan di sms mereka. Overall : 3,5/5..
