Redson and Emma I’m Emma.” She hesitated. “My grandfather is Malachi. He’s technically known as Master Malachi. He’s a Vampire,” she added, in case that wasn’t enough to clue him in. “Your father owed him a blood oath and I came to collect. I needed his protection.” For 36 years Master vampire Malachi and his granddaughter Emma have managed to escape the other vampires who wanted to destroy Malachi and his favourite offspring. U...

This one was a really, really cute love story!!!Very little complications, but very sweet! Both MCs do not fight more than necessary against their being mate! They're also very head-firmly-on-their-shoulders type of person, so it was nice to read about them!

3.75 stars!Hot Grandpa! 😂😂😂Well, after I dnf-ed book #1, I don’t bother with this series anymore eventhought I love Ms. Dohner’s New Species series. But this one was good, light, funny and no tstl heroine or spineless hero in it! Yeah, I talk about you Wen 🤨, my 2nd attempt to read this series!🙄I think I will check it out this series again! 😘I wonder, if Grandpa Malachi will get his story too ❤😁 3.75 stars!Hot Grandpa...

I loved this book, I know many fans are waiting for a new New Species book and I will say I am one of those fans as well but I love this series. I flew through this book and only put it down because I was so busy otherwise I would have read this in one siting. I loved Redson and Emma. Each on their own were amazing characters. Both were very interesting and had great back stories. Together they were perfection. The addition of Emma's grandfather ...

Needs more editingSo it's a solid 3.5 for me. I don't know what her beta team and editors were doing, but clearly, this book needed more work from them. So many grammatical errors and missing words, it felt rushed. I mean it takes reader ONE single read to spot them, yet how many beta readers does she have? And at least one editor ? And NONE OF THEM caught the mistakes ? Yeah, if I'm going to pay $3-$5 for a book, I expect more from it. The story...

Loved this book. What can I say. This is a one click author for me.

There is nothing that Laurann Dohner writes that I hate. She has such a knack for writing great stories that pull you in and never lets go. This book was no different. Redson we briefly met way back in the beginning of this series. However we did not know anything really about his aside from his family background. In this book we not only get to see more of hum but we get to revisit old characters. Malachi is one of the few vampires in which the...

safety - (view spoiler)[ He had been in talks with a woman (Cavasia) about them living together because they were both lonely. He called the other chick at 45% and officially called it off. It wasn't that big of deal but it did throw Emma off believing he had someone - which he kinda did. Below is a few quotes. “You have a mate?” “No, but there’s a woman I’ve talked to about living with me. It’s a possible commitment.”he did say she...

Solid 3.5. One of the better ones in this series. I’ve been kind of meh about this series as a whole. There’s a lot of repetition of information and it seems almost word for word. Kind of blah blah blah after a while. This particular book was a little more unique in its telling of the VGL world and history. It was refreshing. However, I am tired of the word “fantastic.” I think every heroine in every book at some point muttered it sarcast...

Another surprising edition to the VLG seriesWhat a surprise. I didn’t think the kind but reluctant cousin would get his own story. When Kraven needed help during the first 2 books Redson was a great support system. Now he has been called upon to help by protecting Emma a 1/2 vamplycan/ 1/2 human who was raised by her vampire grandfather. They are on the run from the Vampire Counsel who always has an ulterior motive when dealing justice. As Emma...

Loved it!!!!Still one of my favorite series. Velder has chilled since the first book in the series. I really like the humor amongst the GarLycans. I like the blender move Tempest mentioned. Great story. Grumpy Redson meets Emma. She is really tough to survive a vampire fight on her own. Can't wait for the next one in the series. If you have a new Breed book in there somewhere I'm ready!!!!

Too much talking, nothing much happening, annoying heroine that got the "I need to save him even if I'm helpless and will end up getting in his way and dying in the process" syndrome.Usually I love every book from Laurann Dohner but this one felt too much like a "previously" synopsis, they spent the whole book talking about what happenned in the previous books. At least the naughty scenes were reaaaaally great. And I need a book with the grandpa da...
Another good bookI really enjoyed this story of Emma and Redson. She was sent to be protect by the vamplycans until her grandpa could get to her. Redson had a lot to learn about Emma and her grandpa. This was a good read you will enjoy getting to know about this clan and how things came about

Another hit! This story is another great addition to the VLG series! Red and Emma truly grabbed my heart. Their story is beautiful. I was also happy to see the brief reappearance of Kraven, Drantos, Glacier, and Pest. For all of you new readers to this series, start from the beginning. You will not be disappointed! Thank you Laurann Dohner!

Sweet love story. Some action. I only wish this series would start to have children. I like how the story is expanding to include more clansI would like to hear more about previous characters from the other books. If I could make a request, it would be to add babies, I'm curious.
  • Sheila Grindatti
I hope the storyline continues on and adds more others into the story. Also some diversity would help also. I loved reading more on the vamplycans I really liked red in the first few books. I can't wait to see who gets there mate next.... I'm hoping for a garlycan Pest or the second guy It hard to remember his name but I like him. Now starts the waiting game.

Good seriesThe more books in this series, the more I like it. Characters are so creative and fun. I look forward to Pests story. Well all of them are so yummy and interesting. I believe I have read all her series and this is my favorite.
  • Carol Heisz
I’m not sure why, but this book didn’t grab me like others in the series. I wasn’t invested in either Emma or Red until about 2/3 of the way into the book. Not my favorite book, but certainly worth reading.
  • Christina Miles
