Guys, I don't even have the first clue what to say.Plot wise, I enjoyed this one much more than book three. Rezkin & co. are on a mission to get their little island kingdom recognized officially. In order to do that, they for some reason end up going on a weird, extended, Legend of Zelda-like quest across what seems like the whole world. "You can have your kingdom if you get me this sword." "You can have this sword if you get me this girl." "You ...

Okay! I just finished reading this book and i have to say i cant stop smiling and my hands are still shaking. Omg! Have honestly not felt like this since reading The Stormlight Archives. I would like to write a full review on this but at this point I can’t because it just couldn’t put into words how to describe this book. If you hated book 3 you are going to appreciate book three. It makes a lot of sense now. Lets support Kel Kade and recomme...

Book 4 continues as you would expect it to after book 3, with more visits with monarchs, some battles with fae and demons, building up Rezkin's kingdom with the restoration of Ashai in the far background. But then there's a lot more ridiculous romance. My personal qualms with book 3 were 1. they didn't save Ashai as I expected, 2. it threw a loop of supernatural creatures beyond the established magic system, 3. Rezkin touched a door and went crazy...

I LOVE IT! An adult version of Harry Potter! I marked its release on my calendar and set my alarm for early morning and read it as straight through as possible for a mother of five! I can’t believe I have to wait again. Ugg. But it was perfect and worth it. This is my favorite book series of all time. I read the books a few times each and have them on audible and alway choose to listen to them on road trips. I feel like this is an adult versio...

Can I just say PLOT TWISTAWESOME BOOK I HAVE NO WORDS TO DESCRIVE MY LOVE AND MY DESESPERATION for Rez ;) To find SOMEONE WORTHY AHHHH (that is not the important part, but well I am invested in his happiness whatever that may be). I am somehow satisfied until the next book, which I will covetously want and I'll read the heck out of it.SPOILER** SOMEHOWI DON'T LIKE LON leresh it makes my skin crawl at the everything that is happening all over it AH...

The book was so gloriously long. Man, 8732 kindle pages?I really love the Lon Leresh culture in this book. It was really something you don't see often but the cliffhanger is killing me. Why must you torment me so? (view spoiler)[I was actually pleasantly surprised how the relationships turned out in this book and how un-cliche they are. Tbh, though I didn't like it, I thought that Frisha would make up with Rez and they'd end up together for a lar...

Very good This was an amazing and gripping story. I enjoyed Rezkin so much in this book. He is amazing, and I want him to stay that way. I want him happy too. He deserves it. The character has been through so much in his short life, and he strives to do so much for others, no matter what they think about it. A lot happened in this book. Not crazy about the romance stuff. Anything involving Frisha always grates on my nerves. She acts like an adole...

Loved the series till the last part of the book.Call it a romantic or whatever, but Frisha and with Rezs cousin?! From all the time I took and anticipation for the fourth book, was for the very reason to see Rez and Frisha find the spark. The series is great so for those who care to read adventure only then u all should enjoy. My rating is based on my personal wants. I was hoping they both be possessed to hurt rezkin but it is what it is. Yet I f...

A must read series. Do yourself a favor and read ASAP. I couldn’t put this book down. It has now occupied the past few days of my life entirely. It is such an engrossing story. I’ve read the first 3 books multiple times already. I look forward to reading this book many more times as well. In this book Kel has returned to the humor and banter between the characters that everyone seemed to love so much in books one and two. This was also a retu...

Omg I picked up the first book in this series late last year so I believe I had a shorter wait for this instalment than most. I love Rezkin. His different personas, his confidence and his complexity as a character. There is still so much left to learn about him. I appreciate Kel Kade shedding some light on where Rezkin fits in the royal family and it was refreshing to see him converse with the members he met. I love that we finally met the Rez!I ...

That cliff though....This author is like that cool guy in the back of a pool bar who shows up, blows everyone away with his skills and disappears...I mean seriously sir...Is it that hard to cease your normal functions and and obligations as a human being and just dedicate your life to your readers? What? It is?! Tch... Anyway, this story was solid work from Kel Kade as usual. My only gripe was with that cliff...I hate cliffhangers normally and so...

My favorite fantasy series. Ever.As good as the other books, but with more requests and turns. It is fascinating to watch the characters develop and change their the story. What I love about them is how relatable they are. I wish very much that this had been the completion of the story, but it looks like it will be at least one (if not several) more books/years of anticipation. This is, by far, my favorite fantasy series. If you haven't read it y...

Right back on track The third book was a little lackluster to me so I'm glad that the fourth one lived up to all my excitement for the first two books. Everything was generally pretty great, but I do have a couple of minor critiques. I'm not in love with the extended alternate perspectives that happened more frequently in the latter half of the book and I don't want things to get too crazy and magical with fac and ancients and spirits etc. I love...

This was an awesome read! I couldn't put it down. No spoilers, but ... the author says that there are several more books in this series, and that's wonderful news. If you like fantasy, and you aren't reading this series, I highly recommend you start. This series HAS to be read in order, but ... I love this storyline. I think Book 4 was even stronger than Book 3. WELL DONE, Kel Kade!I will be getting this one again, as soon as the audiobook with N...

Incredible.I was a little apprehensive because I did not enjoy book 3 as much as the first two, but this book delivers!Almost all the book is from Rezkin's point of view (except for some parts in the last quarter), which is great because I read these books for Rezkin. Some of the magical things towards the end of the book were a little strange, the plot twist at the end came out of the blue, and I dislike the cliffhanger ending on principle, but I...

Better than the lastI enjoyed this book better than the last two. It progresses nicely and the story fit. They went all around the globe in this book, and I liked the glimpse of each kingdom the author provided. I like how Rezkin gets a family. I wonder what role they will play later. I still dislike Frisha. She makes me angry. I wish she would just go away. I still hope for a worthy love for Rezkin....maybe in this dream he is having. Maybe a ro...

These endings!I'm a relatively slow reader which is the only reason it took me a day and a half to finish his book. OMG! The emotions and attachment for these characters then seeing them go through these trials. And the ending! Each of these books has had an excellent and powerful ending. This book is by far, the most powerful as far as the emotion and shock. I actually screamed out loud. Now I somehow need to wait for the next book to be release...

This fourth book builds on the first three in a way that reveals the nuances unique to each of the characters, making them more believable while increasing my emotional investment in them.In this installment more than any other, Kade dives deeper into her definitions of love and the tension between love as an emotional feeling and the idea of love as a choice regardless of mood that inevitably produces affection and compassion. Kade uses compelli...

So good! Loved the continuation of the story. Even though I understand Freshas concern about Rez’s violent history, you would think her learning of his upbringing would make her more understanding. He wasn’t brought up to love, so he doesn’t know how. She can’t even feel his heartbreak. Poor guy. He holds all his feelings in. I think this might end up being his downfall if he’s not careful. Can’t wait for the next book.

Easily the best so far, but there's a very unfortunate cliffhangerIf you felt unsatisfied by Book 3, a majority of you will greatly appreciate Book 4. Although the end will leave you extremely upset at a certain character and the cliffhanger is beyond brutal. With that said, book 4 feels like what book 3 should've been so I'm just going to call it book 2.5 from now and and refer to this one as book 3.

Always Excellent! This latest book brings us more of everything we love about KDT: action, intrigue, drama, romance, magic, humor, politics, and above all an outstanding story. The more we learn, the more questions arise. The more Rezkin accomplishes, the more he loses himself.I could wax poetic on how awesome this story is, but there’s less need for that if you just go read them yourself. So yep: go do that. Most Highly Recommended

Disappointing and meandering follow up to a promising series so farThis book lost a lot of the the realistic plot development that allows for any kind of suspension of disbelief. Instead you follow reckon around as he easily conquers four other kingdoms, despite not making any progress at the kingdom he actually needs to pursue. Then, the story lumps into a cliffhanger with no indication that the plot is concluding except the few pages left in th...

Mr. Kade you raise a wonderful bookI suspect you expect me to compare this book to others from other established authors. But I feel this book is unlike any of them. You have created a truly unique world that stands alone from all others in my opinion. I look forward to the next book as always.

Always a thrill rideThe fourth installment of Kings Dark Tidings was as riveting as the rest. This novel contained so much content and answered so many question and created new ones leaving you wanting more book. A solid finish and an intriguing cliff hanger. I wait restlessly for the next novel.

AaaaaaaaaaaaaaaahhhhhVery good book, I usually just use kindle unlimited to get my books, but I enjoy this series so much I felt. It was appropriate to buy it outright. If you read the first three already this one won't disappoint you. If you haven't read the others yet. Do so. Now, or yesterday if possible.
