Hunted (Dark Protectors, #3) by Rebecca Zanetti

Hunted (Dark Protectors, #3)

Ready Or Not Moira Dunne is a witch--the quantum physics kind. Time and space are her playthings. Which might explain why her one-night stand from a hundred years ago has turned up to "claim" her--and request her family's assistance with the war he's brewing. But the more she learns about Connlan Kayrs, the more she comes to think this is normal behavior for him. . . There's Nowhere To Hide When Conn and Moira tumbled on the moonlit grass, Conn h...

5 Connlan's Dailtín Stars "I'm sorry I didn't come after you sooner, Moira."-ConnFirst read Dec 16th 2014Reread Nov 24 2016Rereread 2/13/2018*Spoilers*My God I love this series so much. With each new book the plot just gets deeper and juicier. In this book(book 3) Conn is heading to Ireland to bring home his mate. He has given her 100 years to get use to the ideal of being his mate and to finish her witch training and education. But it won't be ...

Connor & MoiraA long time ago somewhere in Ireland the not so young vampire Connlan Kayrs mated a young and inexperienced witch. Moira Dunne was the seventh sister of the seventh sister and she was destined to be powerful and great as part of the Coven Nine. She had the potential to be the most powerful ruler of the Council of the Coven Nine. Unfortunately her powers were still underdeveloped and the fact that she was mated did not really help. C...

Okay - I've heard both sides of this debate. Should an author give his/her own book a rating? On one hand...duh! Of course we like our books. So, why put stars down? But on the other hand, if we don't like our book, who will? I didn't put any stars on one book, and a reader emailed me asking what was wrong with that book. She was really nice, but I started to wonder...what should we do?Goodreads is a place for everyone's opinion...and us authors ...

4+ "Vampire/Witch" Stars!Loving this series. Loved Conn and Moira. Con was a reasonably reasonable male. Moria had spirit and spunk. This may be my favorite of the series so far. Only complaint was I wanted her to be a tad bit more BA with the magic, though she did show some serious skilzs in the end. Can't wait to get to the next one. More to come soon-maybe. RL is super busy these days...Happy reading!

Conn and Moira's story:Fun, fast paced PNR series. Great storyline, characters and suspense. Instalove, mates for life, possessive Alphas and grotesque evil foes. There are Vampires, Shifters, witches, Demons and more. This is a continued storyline focusing on a different couple per book.I wasn't sure if this couple was going to be believable since Conn stayed away from his mate for a century. As strong as Tale, Dage and Max felt when they met th...

4 - A Vampire & A Witch Face Off In A Bar! Stars.I have to be honest and say I got so absorbed in this book that I didn’t actually write many notes to put together a review with. That is a good thing as far as I am concerned though, as it indicates just how bloody absorbing each book is. I can’t say this is my favourite so far. I didn’t connect with Moira as much as I did with Cara, Emma & Sarah, but the whole story progression and the devel...

3.5 starsI recently read this series (actually I listened to it) from the beginning to the end after having stopped reading after book 3 the last time I started them. That many books in one series at one time can be a good thing or it can hurt the series.I admit this series is one I have enjoyed from beginning to end, although some books I liked more than others. I also thought that the later books became a little formulaic. All that being said.....

This series is so much more than romance. While it's got loyal, protective, bossy alpha heroes its also loaded with action. The suspense, mystery and magic keeps the plot moving and my heart racing. So many characters yet they all keep my attention. It's lighter on romance in this installment as the set up is 100 yrs of separation. The great thing is we don't have to read about it.. Its already over. Conn is ready to claim Moira and nothing will ...

The fourth book in the Dark Protectors series by Rebecca Zanetti and in my opinion the most action filled. Every time I turned around there was another enemy, another crisis, another mystery to solve and I loved every minute of it! So many more opportunities and scenarios have opened up with this book that even if it had not been my plan to do so, I would continue on with the next. Moira, the heroine, was everything I wanted her to be. She never ...

Reread: 10/19-20/17I stand by that there was significantly more sex than there needed to be, but overall I enjoyed it. Since I've gotten some distance between this and Wicked Ride, I think I found myself enjoying it more. Still not okay with Janie not being in it very much–especially considering she freaking jumps ten years in the next book which I was never quite prepared for. First read: 8/20/163.5 starsI don't know. I feel like I might not b...

The ultimate second-chance romance - Conn and Moira... 100 years later!4 Sexy PNR-lovin' stars. We’ve seen glimpses of Conn and Moira’s story in the two previous books of the series, and I have been so excited to get to this one! When a one night stand a century ago resulted in Conn accidentally marking and mating a young and naïve Moira, all hell almost broke loose. With the best of intentions, Conn signed a treaty stating that he would stay...

Hunted is the third book in the Dark Protectors series and this time the main couple is Connlan Karys, a three hundred year old vampire and member of the ruling Karys family and Moira Dunne, a witch who is the seventh daughter of a seventh daughter and destined to take her place on the powerful Coven of Nine council of witches in Ireland. I am not at all fond of witches and went into reading Hunted with a lot of wariness. Meeting Moira didn’t r...

"Bloody Witches!"The line is not from this book (see IAD series for said line) but the sentiment is shared by me. I love paranormal but I've discovered witches are closer to being my least favorite. I don't hate them but give me a vampire or shifter any day. Luckily, there were plenty of vampire and shifter action to distract from the frustrating witch nation - those are some stubborn ass people. And Moira was so stubborn I wanted to knock her he...

Review posted at Demon Lover's Books and MoreA century ago, Moira, and Conn accidentally mated. In this series, the vampires are all males, and have only certain women they can mate with. When Conn and Moira spent a passionate night together, he accidentally marked her (think like a brand or tattoo). This is a problem because Moira is still young, and she is the Seventh. Her future position in her world doesn’t leave room for an overbearing vam...

Connlan..... *sigh* Is yummy.... Review coming soon.. But quick to Rebecca... LOVED, LOVED, LOVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!Full Review: Patience. That is the first word that comes to mind when I think of Connlan Kayrs. But of course he is fierce, strong, loyal and willing to do anything for his family. But Patience is what sticks out to me the most. Why do you ask… Conn give his mate 100 years, YES 100 years to grow, not only in age, but in maturity a...

Hunted (Dark Protectors, #3) by Rebecca Zanetti Genres: Adult, Paranormal, Romance, Suspense.3.75 StarsVery well written and a lot of fun to read. The suspense was action filled and the romance was well done. However, both needed to be expanded and taken up a few levels. A lot of the action is to quick. There needed to be a bit more of the 'White Knuckled' factor added to this story. I would love to see (read) a more heart pounding, gasp worthy, O...

3.5 Stars MAJOR SPOILERS THROUGHOUT: This wasn't the best installment, I must say. While I really enjoyed it, there were some elements that the previous books had that were missing in this one. For instance, Janie had only two scenes throughout the whole book. This really sucked for me because she is my favorite character. I wanted more of her and Zane.Moira & Conn- Ultimately, their story didn't let me down. They were both stubborn as hell, d...

Conn is finally ready to claim his mate even if she isn't.Moira, who had been training and honing her craft as a witch after her coven's request, does not want Conn to get involved in her life that's more complicated than he thought. 100 years ago Moira was accidentally marked by the vampire warrior Conlan in a burst of passion so bright it nearly made her weep. 4 to 4 1/2 stars Enjoyed Moira and Conn's tale/romance and really liked that they were both stubborn, intelligent, kickass individuals and also such a powerful team when they combined forces! This series, its ongoing, unfolding storyline(s), and large cast of characters is definitely growing on me and getting better and more compelling as I go. I'm now in the space where I'm looking forward to reading more and discovering what's to come. Was defini...

Conn has the patients of a saint. 100 years of waiting for his mate and Moira is still wiggling her way out of it because of her butt hurt feelings? Moira need a good spanking. I'm in a spanking mood where every immature character I come across can be fixed with a good trip to the wood shed. I get Moira is special. She's the 7th daughter of a 7th daughter. I liked Conn even more in this book. It shows how he spent the past hundred years really wo...

Good and definitely worth reading. Hot, sexy alpha vampire finally has come to claim his woman after 100 years of allowing her time to find herself... Moira gets on my nerves more than once with her "you're not my boss", or the "I can't be with you, who cares if we are mated," and her "I feel abandoned cause he left me," bull$£!+. No matter that they are mated, something she knows the importance and significance of. No matter that she knows he l...

This one was my least favorite book of the series so far. There were parts of the book I enjoyed, loved Conn, but was bored with the elements that made Moria's story. I lost interest and it took longer to finish than normal. I was so happy when I finished, because I was about to give up on this one (and I never, if ever give up on a book, especially one in a series). If you have to read this one, skim over all the boring parts and move on. As I l...

Amazing book. Wow. This book was really good. I'm thinking it was the best of them all so far! I loved the character development. Sure, the book was still very steamy, but not as....bluntly steamy if that makes sense. I really felt a connection between the hero and heroine in this story. The action was constant. I never wanted to put this book down. Each page had me hurriedly reading so I could find out what happened. The world Zanetti has create...
