From the beginning till the end, this 4th installment in this graphic novel series will make readers burst out laughing of how funny the plot and the scenes are. I even re-read it right away just to make sure I remember the story. 😂

I did not really like this book because I don't like all of the super-duper long names like " The Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants" and "Shrinky-Pig 2000 ". There also was also a "very giant hamster bot" that tried to crush George, Harold and Captain Underpants.

The fourth book (and third book for me) in this series. This time a professor with an original name and his plans to take over the world (though I totally was cheering him on). I have to say I liked this one less than the previous books I read. It had to do with the teachers (this is definitely not what you do to your students/pupils, I know it is exaggerated, but it still was just too much for me. What terrible teachers, they shouldn't be workin...

This is another hilarious book in the Captain Underpants series by Dav Pilkey. Our girls really like these books and insist on reading them independently (so I don't have the excuse that I read the book with them, but I enjoyed reading it, too!) The humor is quite juvenile and the storyline is very predictable, but we all really liked it. Our girls especially like the Flip-O-Rama pages, and they had a blast figuring out all of our new silly names...

April is coming to an end and I'm not even sure if I have read anything. Well, slump is slowly fading... or not. Busy with school lately, and beside who would resist a fun childhood book full of memories?

I enjoyed this book because I like Captain Underpants books. I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Captain Underpants defeated Professor Poopypants.

This was one of the funniest books I’ve read when I was in year 4-5. I’m doing a review on Captain Underpants and the Perilous plot of professor poopypants for a school exercise. It is a book by Dav Pilkey. It tells you the story in the 3rd person narrative and it is the fourth book in the series. This book is about a funny sounding guy named Professor Pippy P. Poopypants. He is a scientist from a place where everyone has a silly name. He cre...

In this book, Professor Poopypants becomes angry and seeks revenge on those who make fun of his name. I would not necessarily recommend reading this book in the classroom, but it is definately a good book to get students excited about reading. Particularly, the 8 year-old I work with didn't want to put the book down because it gave him an excuse to say ridiculous things such as "poopypants" and "stupid" without getting into trouble.

A hilarious, gross, entertaining, imaginative, wonderful middle grade series that left me in stitches when I was young, and I have no doubt it would have the same effect on me now at 25. Grab it for your kids and yourself and you will undoubtedly lol all the way through.

In Swissland, a small country south of Greenland, everyone has a sill name. Professor Poopypants is an example. But the professor was smart. He created two inventions. One shrinks things to minuscule levels. The other grows things to a large size. Professor Poopypants thought shrinking garbage and growing food would solve the world's largest problems.Over to America he came to pitch his ideas. As good as they were, they fell upon deaf ears. The s...

A brilliant scientist arrives in the USA from a country where everyone has a silly name. And unfortunately for Professor Pippy P. Poopypants (the middle initial stands for Peepee!), he is having a hard time getting anyone to take him seriously. Finally, down on his luck and desperate, he takes a job teaching science at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School in Piqua, Ohio, confident that children will be accepting and loving, in spite of his silly name...

This one's all about goofy names: Mr. Rected (guidance counselor), Miss Labler (school psychologist), the Honorable Chuckles Jingleberry McMonkeyburger Jr. (president of New Swissland), Professor Pippy P. Poopypants (new science teacher), Mr. Fyde (old science teacher), Mr. Meaner (gym teacher), Ms. Ribble (homeroom teacher), Ms. Anthrope (school secretary), and on. Kieran (4) and Sigourney (6) loved the name change key. Depending on the first le...

Captain Underpants and the Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants was a hilarious book! My friend told me to read this book, and I was not disappointed. In this book our main characters, George and Harold, get into a lot of trouble and scare off their science teacher. A new teacher came along, Professor P. and he won't tolerate George and Harold. George and Harold suspect something off about their new science teacher and his inventions. They don't...

I gave this a 3 because I did not like it but my son loved it. This was about a new science teacher that comes to a school named professor poopy pants, no one takes him seriously so he tries to do all these evil things. Two students hypnotize the principal and he becomes captain underpants. Captian underpants has to defeat professor poopy pants. The whole story is just goofy and not something I would want to read personally or in a classroom setti...

I did an after school Captain Underpant's program and wanted to read a few books to familiarize myself with the books. This one is book 4 in the series, but I did not read 2 or 3, but it was okay b/c. in the first few pages Dav Pilkey does a summary of what has happened. In the middle of this book is a silly Name Maker Chart. The kids in the Captain Underpant's program enjoyed finding out their silly names.

The "before I tell you that story, I have to tell you this story" is getting a little tiresome. Just tell the story already. I did find the image of Cheeseball's hand becoming extra-supersized quite funny. Though as big as it was I'm not sure he would have been able to keep from crushing himself or Fluffy for long. One question: As there are actually reporters in this book's world, why hasn't Mr. Krupp seen himself as Captain Underpants in the pa...

The fourth story in the epic series, Captain Underpants was another spectacular book! George, Harold, and Captain Underpants had come across a new enemy once again. George, and Harold have to work together, and stop there new enemy. It was George, and Harold's mistake that created one of there new teachers into a villain that's trying to take over the world. With there team work they save the day with the power of perseverance, and friendship. Ge...

Wanting to know why my students like Captain Underpants so much, I finally cracked a spine and read it. These was a very funny book and not banal. There is a lot of meta-fiction. I think this would make a great read-aloud. Had to watch the movie after reading this, and it is as funny. Definitely worth having these in your library. Along with the other Pilkey titles.

I had stopped reading this for awhile and picked it up again to finish! This one was always one of my favorites, but I feel that I say that about each book in the series! When I was younger I used to love the "Silly Name Generator" made by Professor Poopypants and would giggle for hours on end as I made silly names of people I know.
