From the beginning till the end, this 4th installment in this graphic novel series will make readers burst out laughing of how funny the plot and the scenes are. I even re-read it right away just to make sure I remember the story. 😂

Dear Gidget Hamsterbrains, After we finished reading this book, my son said, "Let's read it again.""No." I said."Then let's read the next one," he said. "No, let's read In Grandma's Attic," I said.He doesn't want to read In Grandma's Attic. You are spoiling him.Signed, Flunky Pottylips

Captain underpants and professor poopy pants by Dav Pilkey, is a comic with funny characters. I love the captain underpants books because their comics and flip o rammas are radical. The books about a professor moving from this town that has ridiculous names, he ends up at the school and the kids make fun of his name. I think all people should read this book because the comics are amazing and the books are pretty easy to read.

I did not really like this book because I don't like all of the super-duper long names like " The Perilous Plot of Professor Poopypants" and "Shrinky-Pig 2000 ". There also was also a "very giant hamster bot" that tried to crush George, Harold and Captain Underpants.

The fourth book (and third book for me) in this series. This time a professor with an original name and his plans to take over the world (though I totally was cheering him on). I have to say I liked this one less than the previous books I read. It had to do with the teachers (this is definitely not what you do to your students/pupils, I know it is exaggerated, but it still was just too much for me. What terrible teachers, they shouldn't be workin...

This is another hilarious book in the Captain Underpants series by Dav Pilkey. Our girls really like these books and insist on reading them independently (so I don't have the excuse that I read the book with them, but I enjoyed reading it, too!) The humor is quite juvenile and the storyline is very predictable, but we all really liked it. Our girls especially like the Flip-O-Rama pages, and they had a blast figuring out all of our new silly names...

April is coming to an end and I'm not even sure if I have read anything. Well, slump is slowly fading... or not. Busy with school lately, and beside who would resist a fun childhood book full of memories?

When I read this book it had a lot of funny thing like in a part of George and Harold were not going to a field trip because there old mean principle Mr Krupp caught them doing bad thing. SO Mr Krupp said they needed to stay and clean the teacher lounge room so George and Harold clean but put something to the teacher when came back. When the teacher came back from the trip they went to the teacher lounge room and had a big surprise the teachers o...

So, I never read any Captain Underpants as a kid, but I ran across this book the other day and decided to give it a read. It’s a pretty funny story and a great interactive read for new readers of chapter books. Silly, but clean potty humor.

If I had a name in Jerome Horwitz Elementary School, it would be "Stinky Toad Hiney."
  • Dahlia Quijano
My favorite part about Captain Underpants was when everyone at Jerome Horwitz Elementary School had to change their names! If I had to change my name, my name would be Gidget Toadhiney!
  • Amanda
Professor Poopy Pants made for lots of laughs from my 7 yr old just reading his name!

George and Harold got told for them to be named cheeseball and fluffy. This book is funny.

It's American history in this country and you don't know why but it's really important policy for that,no matter

I enjoyed this book because I like Captain Underpants books. I also enjoyed this book because I liked the part when Captain Underpants defeated Professor Poopypants.

This was one of the funniest books I’ve read when I was in year 4-5. I’m doing a review on Captain Underpants and the Perilous plot of professor poopypants for a school exercise. It is a book by Dav Pilkey. It tells you the story in the 3rd person narrative and it is the fourth book in the series. This book is about a funny sounding guy named Professor Pippy P. Poopypants. He is a scientist from a place where everyone has a silly name. He cre...

In this book, Professor Poopypants becomes angry and seeks revenge on those who make fun of his name. I would not necessarily recommend reading this book in the classroom, but it is definately a good book to get students excited about reading. Particularly, the 8 year-old I work with didn't want to put the book down because it gave him an excuse to say ridiculous things such as "poopypants" and "stupid" without getting into trouble.

Captain Underpants is about these 2 kids who hypnotized there principle and the principle is a super hero name captain underpants, captain underpants can be friendly and can also be deadly you pour a bucket of water on captain underpants hell turn back to the same mean old principle and if you snap your fingers he turns back into captain underpants.

Both the movie and this book series is just so amusing. Having discovered the film first, it's been fun to go back to the book. They appear to have taken elements from most of the books but what stood out for me was the protagonist Professor Poopypants. A light read, but fans of Superhero's will easily find enjoyment.

A hilarious, gross, entertaining, imaginative, wonderful middle grade series that left me in stitches when I was young, and I have no doubt it would have the same effect on me now at 25. Grab it for your kids and yourself and you will undoubtedly lol all the way through.

In Swissland, a small country south of Greenland, everyone has a sill name. Professor Poopypants is an example. But the professor was smart. He created two inventions. One shrinks things to minuscule levels. The other grows things to a large size. Professor Poopypants thought shrinking garbage and growing food would solve the world's largest problems.Over to America he came to pitch his ideas. As good as they were, they fell upon deaf ears. The s...
