A romp at Boot Camp. The candidates are going through the selection process for training to be put up for auction. A week of challenges for all as the ranks get whittled down. Rick is an American porn star looking for a fresh start. The Masters are looking for something unscripted. Pretty much inside Rick's head as he tries to game the process and keeps falling short. Emotional, but all the porny stuffing fun you'd expect from a Brighton read. Ent...

Fun read. Brighton had a way to make his SM stories exciting.

There are criteria that determine whether a novel can be called romance: a central love story and an emotionally-satisfying year and optimistic ending. Often the characters are caricatures. The main female character is often hopeless of ever finding the man of her life. And that's when she meets Prince Charming. ★★★☆☆Meh. You don't read Jack Brighton books for reality. No condoms are ever mentioned, multiple partners abound and it's basically reading porn. I read this book as part of the BDSM taboo twister challenge. I have to say, it was a little tame and not a lot of kinky sex that I was expecting.I was getting a little anxious as I had to wait until nearly the end before the water sports came into it, and even that was tame. This is a 3 star read for me. I thought I had found a new series but I am not sure I will be continuing with it.

This was not a slap and tickle bdsm story. There was more story line and character building than sex not that there isn't sex scenes because there are just with good story to back them up.If you're looking for hardcore kinky bdsm this isn't the book you want. This one just touches bases with little depth. Others in the series might be more in depth but I'll have to see then.
