4 Rick Randy stars! If you are looking for your next feel good, funny read, look no further. The Other-C Word was all kinds of hilarious, fun and sexy, but there were also an actual story too! Sex was real- tangible, visceral and primitive. Love was mystical, elusive, vague and obscure. Sex was atmospheric, but love was ethereal. I chose sex every time. Marley doesn’t do relationships and she doesn’t do love. She doesn’t sleep around, but t...

4 1/2 Stars A hot couple, one sexy denim suit, a wedding, a traumatic past, spread sheets, bar fights, Zesty bars, German chocolate cake, and sadly a plant is murdered all in the course of this story. This is the story of Marley Mason, a woman who has demons and doesn’t do relationships. She is surrounded by her kickass family and loves her job. I have to say that she was a really likable main character. "Sex was real – tangible, visceral and...

3.5 maybe. Although I wasn’t a dressy kind of girl, I did enjoy a man in a good suit, and this was an all you can eat breakfast buffet of hot men in suits I liked this one but did not LOVE it. I finished The Do-Over and really liked it so decided to stick with this author. Bad idea, maybe, as my expectation were too high. I nearly stopped reading about 40% in but it did improve for the last 50% or so. Does love die out, like the light in a de...

4.5--Charming-Comical-Cute--Stars!!!So I kind of sort of LOVED this one!!! The Other C-Word--in case you're wondering--is commitment and Marley is against it 100%. She prefers no strings sex with her "rotation" to relationships. Until Mr. Cheapskate comes along. Meet Mr. Cheapskate:Marely is sent to pick up said Mr. Cheapskate at the airport. This was the start of my laugh-fest! Mr. Cheapskate is also known as Rick Randy. And Rick the Dick has co...

Let’s start with one little question, was I the only perv that thought the C word meant c*nt not commitment? I mean, look at the cover! It’s almost mocking me, before I read the blurb I was 100% sure it’s about that word!Anyway, The Other C-word is fantastic read! Sexy, amusing, quirky and with one fine piece of hot man in suit and feisty heroine. Everything I love in my book packed in great romance novel that made me have a blast! I laughe...

3 -- IT WENT FROM FUNNY TO WEIRD -- Stars. This book started off with one of the funniest scenes I have read in a long time, and I was prepared for another great read by this author. And while it was a really good read over all, I felt it got bogged down with a lot of "I can't be with you, but I want you so much" drama as it tried to build the tension and relationship between Rick and Marley. On the plus side, there were some really hot and tensi...

See, I love finding books like this that no one seems to know about, they just come out of no where and they're absolutely amazing.Bravo Miss Schiller! This book made me laugh so freaking hard I had to drop my E-Reader for a moment to roll on the floor, made me swoon too many times to count and made me bawl my eyes out for Marley. Why doesn't this book have more ratings? Seriously! It's the definition of perfection. I haven't read a book like this ...

4.5 Stars I read The Other C Word in one sitting and after much laughter, tears and serious swooning, Rick, Marley and Marley’s crazy and lovable family well and truly had me under their spell. What started out as such a fun and funny read, soon became one of heartbreak, pain and healing. This really was a tale of two books. The innuendos, the cheeky flirting, the double-entendre’s which introduced this book certainly had the makings of a fun, ...

So... I had a bit of a hard time getting into this at the beginning. Rick is brought into Marley's company to help fix it. And their meeting was no ordinary one, R U RANDY I really liked Rick. He was flirty, sweet, protective, caveman... I could go on. The family was crazy and there was plenty of chuckle-worthy moments. I loved the back and forth banter between Rick and Marley. Rick are we having a orgy? You've ordered a ton of food But Marle...

4.5 STARS The Other C- Word by M. K. Schiller is a beautiful read. It is a heartfelt story of two young individuals. It was also funny as hell! The story became deeper and more complex as the plot thickened. The Other C- Word is a story about the eclectic Marley (named after Bob Marley), who is kind of - short of content with life. However, it is clear that there is a lot of darkness in her past which creates a somber tone. She is an assistan...

This book is a fantastic mixture of sweet/sexy/funny/frustration and silliness. I really loved the characters, though Marley made me grumpy a few times but everything worked out perfectly so I forgave her ;) I would recommend this book & I look forward to reading more by this author.

Who can resist "This Guy?" Not even Marley, a non-commitment woman regarding her past. Chris Pine, my cast for Rick Randy It was an awkward first meeting with Rick at the airport when Marley picked him up. He's going to be her new boss for another 4 months. She usually wear some tomboy girls outfit, but Stevie , her sister insisted to made her wear skirt, girly thing complete with stocking and garter belt.Hm, and his name is "Randy", you what it m...

I don't think I can ever be objective when it comes to reviewing a book. Of course, I draw the line when the story's obviously messed up or just not convincing or realistic enough, but mostly, I don't really care about the little things. With this book, although it wasn't perfect, the overall feeling that I still got afterwards was one of complete warmth and satisfaction. :)

World of Romance, Rants and Rave 1st buddy read 2013. This bk has one adorable Hero/Rick, and is filled with sexual tension, it’s flirty fun early on, there’s hot sex scenes and plenty of romantic drama because of the h/Marley’s fear of commitment due to her trauma from the past. Two people you know are going to fall in love but the story takes its time in the telling. That Rick though….what a keeper and definitely book boyfriend worthy. ...

‘Randy - sexually excited or aroused, lustful, horny.’Means : to be sexually aroused or in a horny state of mind [The Online Slang Dictionary] And in this case, this Shmexy HOT guy, Rick Randy....Had successfully put Marley in "constantly 'Randy' state" all the time !!Well, I think it's not only Marley, but Rick too !!! Lol...And THAT what makes this story became "fun reading" for me !!The sexual tensions between the main characters was so IN...

First off I have to say that the NA genre is really taking off by storm. I mean everyone can relate back to a time where you are between the ages of 19-27. It was a fun and loving time and for some some of the best things happened to them during that time. College, your first job, your first real stab at the real world. This is both fun and exciting as well as nerve wracking. For Marley the main character in this story she has suffered a terrible...
