Closer to 1.5 starsKISS ME, I'M YOURS is the second book in the 'Tennessee Waltz' series but can easily be read alone. Sophie Bowen is the owner of an yoga studio when she finds out that her boyfriend, Kevin, is messing around on the sly with one of her clients. He was working off some loans with Sophie and she fears he has stolen money. Then she finds out that the IRS is going to perform an audit and is afraid she will lose her business. So what...

I loved this story. It is a lovely romance novel filled with magic and the message that finding a soul mate knows no boundary of time. Sophie time travels from the future to the past at the exact moment that she wishes her life to be different. At the same time that she appears in the past, a 12 year old girl turns up by her side and they are found by Gabriel who is himself on the verge of ending his life. This is the period after the civil war a...

Bella Street KNOWS how to write books!!! Every word captures all my attention. In Book 1: Kiss Me, I'm Irish, Emily time traveled to the future to escape being sent to a convent. In Book 2, Kiss Me, I'm Yours, Sophie time travels to the past to get away from the reality of her sucky cheating boyfriend. Both stories are the "can't put down" love, action, drama, fantasy type that every girl wants to read. So freaking GOOD! Attacked as soon as she h...

An unusual time travel storyI liked that this story focused on the anguish that time travel could cause. The woman, Sophie who time traveled, didn't belong in the post Civil War time that she found herself. She couldn't really settle in and belong , but she met a man who really needed her and she fell for him. It highlighted a stark time in our history - the post Civil War south.

Wow wow wow!One of my favorite Bella Street books!Absolutely loved the main character! She was kick butt, yet feminine in all the most perfect ways! Bella Street did an excellent job bringing the post-civil war war to life! Each character in this book brought depth and exposure to such a fragile/intense time in Americas history. So put on your yoga pants and snuggle into this phenomenal masterpiece! Wow wow wow!One of my favorite Bella Street b...

This was another interesting time travel book with romance and magic. Toward the last half, the author had Merritt using modern words like trafficking slaves and several other modernisms. Charming leading man.

Boring, whiney heroine- boring storyAargh. I disliked the heroine so much. She spent the whole time whinging and whining. Yuk. I really didnt buy the romance at all. Though this is the second book in the Tennessee Waltz series, I felt it could be read as a stand-alone novel. It is another lovely, clean romance novel by Bella Street. The book starts with Sophie in a totally distraught state, out with her friends Karen and Vicki, trying to drink away the memory of her boyfriend Kevin cheating on her. After they drop her off at her apartment she decides to pay him a visit at his apartment, but when she gets to hi...

Bella Street's Tennessee Waltz series where time travel is no obstacle for finding your soul mate continues with KISS ME, I'M YOURS. This time Sophie Bowen, a modern day yoga instructor, finds herself back in the post-civil-war era and not quite believing it. She's a modern girl used to modern conveniences and finds the life harsh and in many ways cruel. The only comfort she finds is in the GQ model gorgeous farmer, Gabriel Merritt who rescues he...

[review also posted on my blog at http://beentherereadthatreviewedthebo...]Bella Street draws me in to her books with the depth of characters and strong plot. Kiss Me, Im Yours, sees the main character time travel back in time instead of travelling to the future like Emily does in Kiss Me, Im Irish.I loved how well developed the characters were. We learnt a lot about both the main characters, Gabriel, whose life was full of pain and hurt, and Sop...

I always love Bella Street's novels and I had no doubt this one would be right up there with the others.Street has a natural skill for story-telling. She can transport you, steel your heart, and educate you all before you even know what hit you. Her stories have such depth and tangibility-they're downright genius. Seriously.Kiss Me, I'm Yours is a developing love story between two lost souls. Some more lost than, really. Sophie finds ...

Sophie is trying to deal with her break-up from her 5 year relationship with Kevin. As if that isn't enough the IRS wants to audit her business. Wishing she didn't have to deal with this she goes out with friends and gets a little smashed. Her drunkenness turns into an unbelievable nightmare. She finds herself in another place and time. Everything is different. She meets a man, Gabriel, who needs her help as much as she needs him and a young mute...
