UPDATE: Sacred Seas was finally released in late Nov 2017. I hope readers enjoy the conclusion to the series. 2013: Considering I haven't written in yet, I haven't technically read it yet. But in my mind it's 5 stars! ;)

I have not read many books with krakens. Even less with then as an official character. ANd now it is official that I would never want to tangle with one. Although this one likes to tangle with any living female. At least he doesn't discriminate. Watching all the females falling over him, even turning on their men was disturbing. And when those that resist him rise to fight things get ugly! All through the book I kept wondering who would be lost f...

Full review posting on my blog, Exploring All Genres. Guys, this book is phenomenal! Sometimes a book catches you by surprise, grabs hold of you and takes you on a beautiful, emotionally charged journey. This is how I felt throughout the entirety of The Sea Monster Memoirs trilogy. Tangled Tides set the foundation for it all, giving us a story about finding oneself, facing challenges head on and getting the love that you deserve. Dangerous Depths...

Totally worth the wait for the ending to the monster memoirs trilogy. I didn’t think I could like Treygan more, but this book proved me wrong. I loved how Treygan and Yara love each other so much, they manage to overcome any obstacles. Excellent conclusion to the series.

Plan to read the first book of the series, have not known anything about the story yet. However, reading the author's funny comment I decide to give it 5 stars too. LOL :V

I enjoyed this book for all the mythological creatures and it was a good story, overall, but it somehow fell a little flat. It's difficult to say why. I think the side story about Koraline and Joel was a bit annoying and distracted from the main storyline. Every time it switched to Koraline's point of view, I couldn't wait to get back to one of the others. I guess she's supposed to be a sympathetic character with her disability and her all consum...

This was an amazing ending to an amazing series. There was so many surprises, lots of changes and consequences for actions. I loved how everything was wrapped up neatly and nothing was left hanging. I discovered that the sexy sexy Kraken was not so sexy after all. He was just a selfish, angry, god of Harte and he needed to go back where he belonged.

Pretty goodThis book took till the almost the 13th chapter to get intresting. Didn't care for it. I felt a third book wasn't needed. Tara was fighting a kraken while trying to keep everyone safe same story different villin. I don't recommend this book.

I read Tangled Tides and Dangerous Depths in 2014. Somehow I only managed to review one of them for the blog. Whoops. The conclusion of the trilogy took four years to make it to print, so I reread the first two novels one weekend to catch myself up with the characters before starting in on the finale. You can read my thoughts on Tangled Tides here. Sorry you can't read my thoughts on novel number two. I remember now that the story was good, but no...
