For this review and many others, please visit - https://bionicbookwormblog.wordpress.comWhen I read the last sentence, I closed the book and stared at it in my lap for a solid minute. All I could think was “What the hell did I just read?”…. but in the best way possible! This book was HIGHLY addicting. Maybe even bordering on obsessive and hypnotic! None of which I was expecting. This book was such a surprise!Let me first warn you that this ...

That was a very interesting read. Really enjoyed the complexity of the narration, and how far back it goes in time. Also, that last line was incredible. A little slow in parts, but overall still enjoyed it. However I am not sure that people said "Saucy Bitch" in the 1800's.

https://jestandhearts.wordpress.com/2...This is absolutely amazing, add it to your TBR. I don't care if you don't like horror. ADD. IT. Teeth in the Mist is a gloriously dark and twisted Gothic horror, told from two different POVs and a journal entry, all taking place at different time periods. While this is a horror I don't think it will scare your soul out of your body, it's definitely creepy and twisted with a few wtf moments. I feel like the...

This review is for both the physical book and the audiobook.I really don't know where to start other than this book was fantastically devilishly creepy. We get three main POV's within different time periods from in the beginning as far back as AD 977 where it all started with a monk, onto 1583 with diary entries from Hermione, then with Roan in 1851 and up to the present time with Zoey. The time shifts with each character as events unfold.Zoey, a ...

**You can see this full review and more at Book Briefs: https://bookbriefs.net**Teeth in the Mist is a young adult horror fantasy novel by author Dawn Kurtagich. I will admit that I do not read a ton of novels in the horror genre, but after having read, and absolutely loved, Teeth in the Mist, I may need to rethink this. This novel blew me away. I loved everything about it. I loved the writing, I loved the multiple timelines and points of views, ...

Huge thank you to theNovl for sending me an ARC of this beautifully disturbing novel. I just want to begin by saying that I have never found myself writing down so many thoughts and reactions while reading a novel before. The mysterious actions, unexpected twists, and crazy reveals had me needing a moment to gather my thoughts almost every chapter. And now for my review: ***Review***You never feel alone while reading Teeth in the Mist. The la...

I'm always so enthralled by Kurtagich's novels, I never really know what's going on until the end when everything comes together and I can see the brilliance behind it all. In this case, while I still liked the book, it didn't click with me as much as her other books have. Thanks so much to Hachette Books Canada for sending me an ARC of this book for an honest review, as always, all opinions are my own. This story follows three women along three di...

*Thank you to The Novl for sending me a copy*SPOILERS!!!Holy Moly! 😱 This book is based on Faust, Fostos, who is a man who made a deal with the Devil for immortality in exchange for his soul. This book explores that man and his children that come. Children of the Devil or in this case called The Unclosed Conjures aka Witches. There are 6 different Unclosed and Roan our main character is the Breaker, the worst of all. After Roan’s father died...

Centuries ago, the monk Faustus learned to read the Devil's tongue and made a deal with the devil that will affect people for generations to come. In 1583, Hermoine Smith accompanies her new husband into the wilds of the North Wales Mountains. She is following her husband's dream of building a large mill and Medwyn Mill House on a mountain that seems to have no water. The dairy pages that she leaves behind tell a story of brutality and a descent ...

Teeth in the Mist is a young adult horror novel that spans three generations and let me start by saying that this novel blew my mind. I really liked everything about it, from the writing to the way it was written to the fact that this novel is inspired by the legend of Faust where a man sold his soul to the devil. Teeth in the Mist was creepy and atmospheric and kept me thinking about the ending even after I was finished. The novel is written in t...

Deliciously creepy, shocking at every turn, and unexpectedly horrific, TEETH IN THE MIST is an intense page-turner. Fitting the supernatural and horror genres with some historical context, this book follows two primary timelines: the past when Roan lived in the 1800s and came to live at Mill House and the present when Zoey makes her own trek to the dilapidated house. In a smaller piece, told through journal entries, we also witness the story of M...

3.5 stars*Thanks to the NOVL for providing me with an ARC in exchange for my honest review*This was such an unusual, interesting read. I’ve never read anything like it before (mostly because of my fear of horror novels). We follow three women in three different timelines, living on the same mountain filled with secrets and darkness. I was nervous going into the story because it sounded so dark and mysterious, but I had a great time reading it.T...

TEETH IN THE MIST was a dark and creepy book based on the Faust tale, but it was definitely more complicated than expected. The story was told through different pov’s and timelines. It will take some time to get used to but these elements intertwined together was cleverly done. It somehow just works! The magic system may seem confusing because it seemed as though it wasn’t exactly clear on what was happening, whether everything was just supern...

I received an arc copy through Novl and Little Brown Young Reader. All thoughts are my own. Teeth in the Mist was a very interesting read. Spanning three different centuries, it follows three women connected in their struggle with the man Fostos. Filled with mystery, ghosts, demons, and just a touch of necromancy, this book will be sure to keep you guessing till the final page. One thing I can't wait to see in the final copy is all the illustrati...

Teeth in the Mist was a mystery for me going into it. I don't like to know a whole lot before I start a novel, so all I knew from the cover and the short description on the back, was that this was going to be a spooky read. Let me tell you, it was a whirl-win.The premise and the different fonts for different voices and components was really well done. There's Roan's POV from 1851, and also Zoey's POV from present time. As well as different flashb...

4.5/ 5 starsA huge thank you to storygram tours and the publisher for the early copy! This book is definitely one I'll be searching for a similar one to for the rest of my life. It's the incredible story of Mill House and the eerie happenings there. The book ends in a way that the story could be finished as a standalone or continue as a series. We read the book through Roan's eyes in the 1850's along with her memories, Hermione's diary, and Zoey in...

What the heck did I just read? This was a crazy book but it was so good! Full of darkness and the devil himself I was certainly not able to put this book down. It was original and unique and utterly mad. I had never heard of the Welsh folklore (legend, whatever) of Faust and found myself utterly enthralled by the author's incorporation of this tale. I did not really enjoy Zoey's parts in the book but they did fit well with the story. I loved Roan...
