This one was a lot of fun. Koichi falls for one of his students at his college. She's a writer, and she's trying to find out more about Vigilantes. With that Koichi of course falls for her. Popstar doesn't like that as she has a crush on Koichi. Then Koichi mom comes and visits and lolz happens. Just like all the other volume it's not amazing but it's alot of fun. The series just contains a lot of easy going moments, good character developments, ...

After the sexist mess that was Volume 2, I am so relieved this series has picked up so drastically. It's by far my favourite volume so far in the series, and one of my favourites across both Vigilantes and the original My Hero Academia series. First and foremost, there's almost a subversion of misogynistic tropes. It has the familiar jealousy of love interests, but Pop is never actively cruel, and while i dislike the focus on her body, she has th...

There were some decent parts to the main chapters, but also some really annoying parts, and the thing that ultimately saved this volume from being the worst is the inclusion of the two special chapters. (All Might! Midnight! AIZAWA!)

Oooh...this volume brings in some new characters with new Quirks. Yay. I love the new details we are learning about Pop Step and Knuckleduster in here as well, and in some of the bonus content it was mentioned that Knuckleduster has a serious storyline coming up, so I'm excited to see that. This volume also had a couple special issues, which gave more insight into both Aizawa/Eraser Head and Toshinori/All Might. They were pretty intriguing.

My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Vol. 3 continues where the previous tankōbon left off and contains the next seven chapters (12–18) of the on-going manga series and two specials: "Hero Conference" and "Hero Visit".The tankōbon is divided roughly into three parts with three new characters being introduced with some sort of relation connected with Koichi Haimawari.Makoto Tsukauchi is introduced in the first third of the tankōbon. She is the young...

This is a re-read. I almost never put comics in my read count (But I should). This volume is where this series really starts to come into it's own. Without the school setting in MHA, Vigilantes mainly takes place on the street with the main characters being a bit older. Koichi gets the spotlight in this volume and if you read between the lines, you kind of see why he's the way he is. Hachisuka takes a bit of a backseat (Big reveal for her in vol ...

In terms of action, not a whole lot happens here. But in terms of character, there’s a lot going on. More focus on The Crawler’s college life and balancing being a vigilante. We also see parts of his relationship with family and even his fellow teammates. There’s also the beginning of a love triangle between his teammate, Pop and another student that wants to do a thesis on the local vigilantes. These elements give this volume a more sitcom...

Okay, yeah, I liked this one a lot more. I really like how Ingeium is kind of a key character and Tsukauchi's sister is really interesting. Also, everything with the pro heroes in the end (especially Aizawa because he's one of my favorite bnha characters) was Really good. As for the actual vigilantes characters, I really liked what we saw of them this volume. There was a lot of focus on their personal lives with some indication that it'll be talk...

Yes, this is more like it! There are a lot of subplots in this one that are woven into the narrative perfectly. We get a bunch of new characters, a new love interest which creates a bit of tension, a superhero douchebag that is such an ass I love it and Crawler’s mum which kind of explains why he is the way he is. Then the last 2 chapters work as a prequel to the main series, nice to see what they were doing before they became teachers.

I don't know, the backup stories at the end were interesting. But the main story was lacking, introducing the "Number one here from America" was badly done and horribly awkward then having the mom show up was worse. I would have given the comic fewer stars but worry I'm just missing a cultural thing.

I did enjoy latest volume... but felt short as if you could kind of guess what was going to happen. What saved it was the surprise character that made it interesting and seeing how they were just starting there superhero careers.

Hm, I was thinking this was the year when Deku started at UA but now I don't think so because when Eraser Head expelled all those students it was the year before Deku, right...? So a year before Deku? Maybe I have all the timelines messed up in my head Hm, I was thinking this was the year when Deku started at UA but now I don't think so because when Eraser Head expelled all those students it was the year before Deku, right...? Volume 3 of My Hero Academia: Vigilantes felt a bit off in pacing, and the story was only okay to me. The art was good, and the characters are probably the best part of this series so far. Hopefully, when Volume 4 hits, the pacing and story will pick back up.

not sure how i feel about some of the new characters introduced or the added crossover from the main series, i was enjoying this being it's own thing.

It's kind of fun seeing more of the pro heroes and kind of the before UA stuff also I really like Koichi's character.

I loved the two specials at the end of the book. I really would like more back history of the pros, especially All Might, and these gave me that. I can't wait for more.

A very very good manga, with some connections to the main BNHA universe. I really love the characters, and as a matter of fact I am working in a cosplay from The Crawler!

As always, I think the back matter side stories are the best part of the book. All Might poses as his own personal assistant!

Out of the many spin off series that exist in the world of manga My Hero Academia: Vigilantes is probably my favorite. It offers a very different look at a society where everyone has quirks – superpowers. Instead of following teenagers trying to be young heroes we follow a regular college student named Koichi who moonlights as a vigilante. My Hero Academia: Vigilantes, Vol. 3 by Hideyuki Furuhashi and Betten Court is the latest physical volume r...

For this volume we get three new characters and they are both equal parts awesome and loathsome. First is a beautiful young lady at Koichi’s school who has connections to a character from the main series. Her quirk is really cool; built in lie detector! Second, an American hero with a very stereotypical American problem. Captain Celebrity. Ugh, I hate this sleezebag All Might wannabe! It’s like Mineta, but with actual ability which is worse!A...
