4.5/5 stars The first half was only okay, I was getting tired of their travels and wild demons. BUT the second half!!! Hunger Games much! Amazing. And of course, the cliff hanger. So good. You know I keep thinking that Norman will show up..... *cries silently in the corner* My WEBSITEMy INSTAGRAMMy WORDPRESS BLOG

Things are moving in a very interesting direction! I love being able to see Emma shine as a badass with a compassionate heart. Also, some more secrets are revealed in this volume that make me excited to get my hands on the next one!

SHIT JUST GOT REAL. This volume is full of brutality, heartbreak and. Games. THAT REVEAL IN THE END THOUGH. I’m in tears.

Check out more reviews @ Perspective of a Writer...A Peter Pan retelling like you've NEVER seen before!! Emma, Norman and Ray are the brightest kids at the Grace Field House orphanage. And under the care of the woman they refer to as “Mom,” all the kids have enjoyed a comfortable life. Good food, clean clothes and the perfect environment to learn—what more could an orphan ask for? One day, though, Emma and Norman uncover the dark truth of t...

Story's moving forward at a nice pace. Some character development and back story for our mystery man. More info about the demon realm. This was just a nice volume all together.Especially after the last one which was all set up for this arc. Can't wait to see how this story continues to develop.

It was amazing.showing how you doubt yourself and everything you believe.I was sure there gonna be another one.I'm sooooo happy that the man changed, he hasn't changed actually, he saw the hope again.why are we alive if not because of the hopes and dreams?

(view spoiler)[So this series has gone from To Serve Man: The Manga to To Serve Man: The Manga + Deadman Wonderland. (hide spoiler)] The greatness of this series is the fact that you simply don't know where it is going. Once you think everything is figured out, a new curve-ball is thrown in to make things more difficult. I can't say I agree with all the creative decisions made by this series (e.g. Sister Krone's design), but I am non-the-less ama...

Felt in love with this series from the start but looking back I can imagine that the first couple of book might be dragging a bit. But if you stick around a bit you will be rewarded.Really hard to say anything about this book without spoilers. It's full of thrill, unexpected twists and new stuff. Easy 5* for me and hungry for more.

I almost gave up on this one after the first two (or three), but I am so glad I stuck with it. Although it isn't terribly exciting, it is still a good read for those times when you are craving a good book about demons who eat children.

Ohh this book ended so well, that I am not sure that it is a three star it leans more towards the 4 stars. I'm going to keep it a three stars because the first 60 percent was more meh than good. I need the next book to know what is going to happen though. The last two books have not been as strong as the others the writer does a great job on ending on a cliffhanger!

Daaaamn, the answers we're getting are not good ones.

Uhmmm I read this volume and deadass forgot to mark it as read... whoops. Review to comeI found my notes, they all in tact... hooray! Solid 4 stars. The action really picked up here and I was brimming with tension with Emma and Ray being outside and facing these demons among other challenges. The pacing was pretty great and we got more insight on unnamed guy. I liked the direction this volume took and it was a great volume overall. What did this ...

I've been reading TPN since it was barely leaving the initial GF arc. It's not just good, it's about the best shonen manga I've read, ever. Excellent characters & development, interesting & tight, well-executed plots, near no boring filler whatsoever, just enough horrible situations to raise stakes without turning it into some grimdark tragedy where you think the best outcome would be for someone to just end the entire cast. I don't think a singl...

Impressive volume! I cried and wailed several times: midway and near the ending chapters! Marvelous! This volume is not as happy as the previous one. I like volume 7 because it shows the kids' happy moments, albeit brief. But new developments are on the way here in volume 8, and the plot thickens. I am kinda sad that I don't see Emma, Norman, and Ray . The first five volumes are my favourite--it is the heart of this series . For me, volumes 6 on...

I finished this volume without even realising it. The rythm is fast-paced, the whole story it's full of plot twists and so.much.dread. I am worried about the characters safety from the very first issue; and with every page turned new horrors appear. What I liked the most about it is that the author pays a lot of attention to the mental state of her characters. They feel like human beings, not flat at all. And when something happens vven in the mi...

It's interesting to get to know more parts of this world. (view spoiler)[As in knowing that there are other kids out there, even though they're being hunted, there are groups fighting. I got excited seeing that there is a resistance and Lucas who survived from Mystery Man's team. I want to see what's behind that door. For some reason I have a feeling Lucas might cause a problem. Just because when there are people who "Have been waiting for this m...

Talk about an intense game of 'Hide and Seek'.The more I read into this series, the more the waves of excitement and thoughtful rest the characters goes through is felt on my end as the reader. And what a ride it has been! Although it ties with several of the previous books in the series as exciting and fun to read, it was not my personal favorite thus far. Also, several images towards the end further cause me to consider becoming a vegetarian. A...

Book 2 of my 2019 TBR Challenge.I am really enjoying this series so far, though for me, I doubt if anything will beat that intense and masterfully suspenseful first arc set in Gracefield House.During those initial volumes, I had chills almost constantly and I could barely tear my eyes from the page. This one was still exciting and took some amazing twists and turns, but lacked the claustrophobia of the first few volumes. In this book, the action s...

You may say Emma's pure heart and kindness are hère weakness but i dont see that i think its actually her strength she can give you hope even when it feels like three is none i love how even she know that dude from B 06 32 wanted to kill her she still said well no i want to help you to help you live she is such a sweetheart But ughhh those fuckin demons I REALLY WANT EMMA AND THE OTHER GUYS SHE FOUND TO KILL THE HELL OUTTA THEM You may say Emm...

I'm super happy that things are getting interesting with the stuff going on at Goldy Pond and the possibility of finally meeting Mr. Minerva. I am flying through this series, and am already fearing the inevitable frustration that awaits when I reach the current volume and have to wait however long for the next one.

Another great addition to the series. I love the design of Duke Leuvis and getting to meet/see the overlap between some of the new characters. The plotting and worldbuilding in this series is so tight, it's always fun to see which plot twists will come next.
