4 stars!! Every book in Sarina Bowen’s True North series has been a winner for me, and Fireworks was no exception. I was so excited to get Benito’s story. I loved this beautiful second chance romance. Skye Copeland fell in love with Benito Rossi when she was a teenager. After a misunderstanding of sorts, Skye left Vermont, and Benito when she was 17. She moved to NYC and has never looked back. But now, Skye is on a break from her job and her...

Small town romance ★ Sweet ★ Second chanceI knew I couldn’t go wrong with picking up this book. The author has been a reliable source of sweet and heart warming romances that always speak to me. The vibrant descriptions of Vermont have me wanting to visit ASAP. It’s one of the reasons why I love this series so much. The location is so unique because of how down to earth and non-exotic it is and I’m impressed how much this authors makes ...

‘Fireworks’ is Sarina Bowen’s ever-growing ‘Truth North’ series as we’re taken back on the ride to Vermont where Skylar and Benito meet again after 12 years. Their history is slowly revealed in flashbacks over the course of the story, enveloped lovingly by the rustic Vermont small-town community and memories that don’t just seem to fade. If this starts out rather light-hearted, Bowen inserts a little more suspense here along with th...

20.That's the number of books that I've read by Sarina Bowen THIS YEAR. Yup, I'm obsessed. And here's something that doesn't happen very often, I loved them all. And it was no different with Fireworks. So whether this is your first book by Bowen or your 25th, all I have to say is enjoy this amazing ride that you are about to go on. Skylar Copeland is missing something from her life. Fireworks. She is missing the excitement, the blind light that f...

Let it be known that Sarina Bowen is my desert island author. I will read anything she writes and honestly I will drop everything for her. Add to this fact that the True North series is one of my favorite, if not THE absolute favorite, series from her so I could not wait to read Fireworks. Benito Rossi has been a favorite character of mine for a long time, since Zara and Dave's book, and I could not wait to read his book! And while it was amazing...

Received an ARCI love Sarina's books and especially the True North series, but this book ... no, I'm not a fan. Benito is supercute and awesome, but I'm not Skylars biggest fan. She was okay most of the book, but i don't have anything with her.But I still love Sarina's writing and the book was good with a lot of action, love and lust. Just not for me maybe. Full review soon at pluizenbol.nl in Dutch.

Sarina Bowen keeps delivering great contemporary romances for this series and I keep eating them up. I adored Benito and Skye's story and thought their romance was super cute. This one pulled at my heartstrings and made me want to smack Zara upside her head a time or two. Still, it was an enjoyable romance.

Sarina Bowen's True North series is one of my absolute favorites, they're sweet, romantic and they warm your heart like nothing else. You get action, you'll swoon, and you just want more!I've been so excited to read Benito's story, and this was a beautiful second chance romance - and when they're done right, I'm a sucker for them. Benito and Skye's story began when they were both teenagers. Skye was 16, Benito 18 and their timing was never right...

Fireworks is the latest installment of the True North series by Sarina Bowen and it's simply phenomenal. We knew Benito Rossi from previous books but we really didn't know his back story. Him and Sky Copeland were very good friends as teenagers, Benito was a protector of sorts to her. Due to a misunderstanding Skye leaves town leaving Benito not only missing her but wondering why she disappeared all of a sudden. Twelve long years go by and destiny...

Reviewed on behalf of 3 Degrees of Fiction BlogThis book is the sixth book in the “True North”-Series by Sarina Bowen and can be read as standalone, but I guarantee you, if you start here, you will want to go back to see where the beginning was. So be warned. Nevertheless you can completely understand everything that happened without having to read the previous five books. Skye’s character left me a bit conflicted, since I could not underst...

I really enjoyed this book due to the sizzling chemistry of the characters and the suspense!I liked the characters and the whole storyline had me hooked!Skye hasn’t been back to Vermont in twelve years but since her half sister called wanting her to come for the weekend she had to go especially with 2 weeks unplanned holiday up her sleeve! Due to an unfortunate thing at work, which was rather funny! But how will Vermont and its people be after a...

Fireworks by Sarina Bowen is book six in her True North series and tells Skye and Benito's story.Every book in this series is about another couple and can be read as standalone. For better understanding I recommend to read the books in order.Skye Copeland - aka trouble - was given a last change to keep her job. It leads her to Vermont - aka her hell on earth. And what do you think, she's set up to run into her nemesis, Benito Rossi. Benito and Sk...

**My thanks to the author for providing me with a free copy for an honest review**I really liked this book. Twelve year has past since Skylar lived in Vermont and she is only going back because one, she has been made to take 2 weeks paid holiday and second, her step sister has kinda forced her to come down to help her out.Benito has been in previous books and i have liked him as a character and now we get to see why he was a bit grumpy before. Contemporary romance with some laughs, suspense and second chance love. It also touches on issues that are uncomfortable to think about, but so important. The horrible scourge of drug trafficking and tainted product, but equally as heartbreaking, the effect of sexual assault, verbal and physical on young girls and women. The result can have a devastating effect on their self worth and futures. This sixth book in the True North Series is a great r...

Add FIREWORKS to your TBR today!!! I loved every single bit of this book. It has solidified Sarina Bowen as one of my very favorites. Fireworks is a second chance love story with a star-crossed couple who we get to know via flashbacks and present day. Benito Rossi has been a fairly regular presence in the True North series and we finally get a full understanding of who this man is and what makes him tick. Skye Copeland is one who got away and sta...

Benito is nott a shy man, “Jesus, honey.” Benito shifts in his seat. “I’m getting all riled up over here. You keep making that noise, we’re going to have to finish breakfast naked.” Benito really doesn't have a bashful bone in his body, “you mean, like I want to strip off your new clothes and eff you on the kitchen counter? I don’t know if I can stop. I want you no matter what room we’re in.” I liked this book, I loved Benito.

Heartbreaking, sexy and a seriously wonderful read. Benito Rossi loved Skylar Copeland from the minute he saw her but her truly evil step dad kept them apart. Fast forward 12 years and when they finally meet again fireworks definitely appear but her former step father still stands in their way of any lasting happiness. I enjoyed meeting all the True North characters again and how those events 12 years ago affected their lives too.
