Once I began reading these three novella’s I was gone and page-turning, the stories are written by three different authors, but in some way, include an Amish candy store, take place in a walking distance from each other. Each story is different, but with the theme of forgiveness, loss of loved ones, and coming to terms with yourself. They kept my attention, and as I finished each story I was willing to keep on reading and being in their lives, t...

I found this collection of three books on Netgalley. Even though I didn’t recognize the authors it looked like a cute, clean, easy read. I was right! If you’ve seen any Hallmark movie or read a Christian romance I’m sure you can guess how each ends..but I’d still recommend that you read them ;)All three…-involved lots of yummy food descriptions. UM. YES PLEASE.-on the same note, the second and third books both mentioned Beechy’s Sweet...

"Amish Sweet Shop" is a collection of three novellas, all set in Bluebird, Pennsylvania. All are Amish romances but each is unique from the other and from other Amish romances I've read. In this collection, the only author I was familiar with was Laura Bradford, I enjoyed all of the stories. My favorite story is the first one, "The Sweetest Courtship" by Emma Miller. It's set in a candy shop run by Clara Beechy and her hard-working, but brusque s...

It’s a must read that would be enjoyed by book club members or anyone who enjoys a bit of non-cloying romance in their lives! This trio of novellas by seasoned romance and murder mystery authors is a welcome addition to this genre. Emma Miller, author of “Hannah’s Daughter’s” romance a...

When I bought this book, I thought it was going to be mysteries as one of the authors is a favorite mystery author of mine. It turned out not to be mysteries, but 3 very good stories about love and faith tied together by a common locality. The stories are about Amish people so there isn't the obligatory sex scene found around page 150 in most romance novels which is very refreshing. Instead it is about how 3 Amish couple find each other & find lo...

I enjoyed these four stories and there is something for everyone in this book. However this wasn't my cup of tea. I say this because I don't like different stories in one book they leave you hanging and wanting more.I did drool because in the first story they made candy and I could see myself walking into their shop and watching them make it. I think it's fascinating to watch how they do that! Clara did give a Rose a chance and I could feel the w...

The Amish Sweet Shop is a three story collection surrounding a small Amish community. It is written by three different authors, but the stories all work together, similar to a three part continuing story. I enjoyed reading each story very much. All of the stories were clean, decent, and fun to read, If you enjoy Amish fiction, you will certainly enjoy these stories.
