➳The boundaries of wanting what you can reach, have been broken in this very emotional and in depth full of hope and fresh light of a romance novel... ➳The last time I read a book by Jacquelyn, it was a twist of events that made me want to take my time in understanding her type of style in writing. When her publicist reached out to me to review this one, I already had it added to my TBR so I was excited to dive into it earlier than what I was...

😍😍😍All the heart eyes! I can't begin to explain my excitement over scoring an ARC of Until the Last Star Fades! This was my most anticipated read of the latter half of 2018 and did not disappoint in the least. I'm going to dub Jacquelyn Middleton the Queen of Book Hangovers! After every book of hers, I always feel like I've moved away from dear friends I'm used to seeing daily. When I turn the last page, I mourn my loss of the character...

After reading "London Belongs to Me" and "London, Can you wait?", I had high expectations for Jaquelyn Middleton's new book: "Until the Last Star Fades". I was fortunate enough to receive an advanced eBook copy and it did not disappoint. Once again Middleton has built a world full of well-developed characters and beautifully constructed relationships that draw you in from the first page. From the brilliantly-conceived meet-cute, to the hilarious ...

The mother daughter relationship in this book has been compared to the Gilmore Girls. I, myself, adore the Gilmore Girls so that instantly meant a high bar was set for this book. I could definitely see some of Rory in Riley...definitely her bad taste in men (I'm Team Jess all the way). I didn't want to see any of Lorelai in Maggie since I wasn't emotionally prepared for her situation. Side note: where's Luke? There are a lot of parallels between ...

UTLSF tells Riley and Ben’s story and how after a strange luggage mix-up their paths intertwine. As they get closer and they start being around each other and having fun, they start to know more about the other. It’s then when we start to see that this story is not only about them, and not just about romance. UTLSF is so much more; I thought it was a deep, emotional story. It was packed with a wide range of feelings, and very sweet and hopefu...

What can I say about this book other than OH MY GOD THIS IS AMAZING!! This book struck so many personal cords with me. Riley is a senior at NYU and she deals with anxiety and depression. Her inner monologue sometimes could have literally been taken from my brain, especially when she was juggling a long distance relationship. I cried while reading this book and I don’t cry in books. I may come back to this after my thoughts have processed more, ...

Jacquelyn Middleton writes romance. She also writes amazing friendships, strong female characters, and stories with humor and heart.Riley and Ben cross paths by chance at a time of change for them both. Riley is about to graduate college and she has great friends and a boyfriend, but her mother has a serious illness. Ben is in New York after not landing any acting jobs in LA during pilot season. As they both enter adulthood with all its responsib...

I was lucky enough to receive an arc of this novel and it was a joy to read. The characters felt like close friends, relatable, funny, loving but not without their flaws & troubles. The multiple relationships- family, friends, significant other, were all outstanding, heartfelt and touching. This is a fabulous book and a must read for all contemporary fans.

Until the Last Star Fades by Jacquelyn Middleton (2018, Kirkwall Press)Friendship, love, wanderlust, careers, illness, family, loss, and tough decision-making: each very human theme presents itself in Until the Last Star Fades, author Jacquelyn Middleton’s third novel that combines romance with pop cultural allusions, devastation with humor, and loyalty to the self with love of others. Riley Hope is leaving behind college, past love, and—in s...

Until the Last Star Fades, Jacquelyn MiddletonReview from Jeannie Zelos book reviewsGenre: RomanceWell, I loved London Can You Wait, not so much London Belongs To Me, and this book falls in between. I guess I was spoiled with LCYW, its a hard book to live up to, I loved it so, so much. We get cameos of characters from the other books here, but its a story in its own right, and you can read it without having read the other two.Riley seems to have ...

I really loved this book. This book is even better than the first two books by this author and I loved those books and gave them a 5 star rating. I wish I could rate this as 10 stars, it was that good! This story is very special and tells the tale of Riley a senior at NYU. Everyone loves her and her childhood friend and now boyfriend Josh, is off in North Dakota on a NHL scholarship and is also a senior. It is after a 5 day trip to North Dakota t...

To be completely upfront: I received both an e-book and paperback ARC of this book in exchange for posting my honest review of the story. I've been a fan of Jackie's since her first book, London Belongs to Me. Her heroines are always completely relatable and put you in mind of real people with their own flaws, not just the shiny veneer most authors use for their characters. This particular book, while enjoying a slow-burn relationship on the heroi...

Thank you to the author for providing me with an e-ARC of Until the Last Star Fades in exchange for an honest review.Until the Last Star Fades is the heart warming (and heart breaking) contemporary novel that follows the lives of people pleaser Riley and lovable Ben, whose lives become inextricably intertwined following a classic suitcase mix-up at the airport. While the premise of this sounds corny, and a typical ‘boy meets girl’ contemporar...

I have been a fan of Jacquelyn Middleton’s work for about a year now, which is when I read London Belongs To Me and London, Can You Wait?, thanks to the number of times I heard about them through various social media channels. I was incredibly lucky to be given a chance to read Until The Last Star Fades before its release on November 8th in exchange for an honest review. So, with that in mind… I went through a wide range of emotions while rea...

As soon as I heard Jacquelyn Middleton was working on a new book, it was immediately on my must read list. Having devoured her first two stories, London Belongs to Me and London, Can You Wait?, I had high expectations. I am grateful to have received an ARC of Until the Last Star Fades, and can say that Ms. Middleton did not disappoint. The story of Riley and Ben is sweet and romantic, yet this story is so much more than their developing relationsh...

When I found Middleton's books it was love at first read. Her books are full of pop culture, London, and romance, a few of my favorite things. When I received Until the Last Star Fades to read in exchange of a review I expected nothing less then the creative heart touching story that I have come to know from her other books. UTLSF did not disappoint. Not only is there pop culture references, London boys (actually Scottish), and romance, there is ...

(I received this book for free in exchange for my honest review)Such a cute, sweet book. This was the first Jacquelyn Middleton book I've read, but now I definitely want to go back and read her others. Until the Last Star Fades is the perfect combination of light and sweet and serious and deep. And if you don't love the main character, Riley, I'm pretty sure something is wrong with you (I mean that with kindness, but seriously, Riley is simply aw...

This slow burn friends to lovers book completely melted my heart. I hadn’t realized I needed a book like this until I had it I. My hands and was devouring it day by day. Riley is the kind of girl I aspire to be. An amazing friend, a wonderful daughter, and a loving thoughtful girlfriend. Jacqueline Middleton is not afraid to touch on and dive deeper into sensitive topics, and it was great to see depression represented so well on the page. Just ...

Author Jacquelyn Middleton is on a roll. Her first two books LONDON BELONGS TO ME and LONDON, CAN YOU WAIT? had me completely in love with her characters and their stories. This new effort, UNTIL THE LAST STAR FADES brings the same aesthetics, even the same "world" … which is author-speak for : CAMEO ALERT! Friendly faces! The first two books did not seem to me to lack anything, but with this book, there's much more about sex, discussion of it, ...

I was so excited to get an ARC e-book of Until the Last Star Fades. Having read and loved Jacquelyn’s other two books, I couldn’t wait to get my hands on this one.UTLSF is a book you don’t want to put down. I was super excited to receive an ARC of this book and get the chance to read it before it came out in paperback. Until The Last Star Fades is such an emotional, beautiful love story. It talks about Ben and Riley’s financial struggles, just trying to make a living in NYC. Even though you’re experiencing heartache and fighting with your demons of the past, it’s so ok to just let go sometimes, and jump right into something new and exciting. I...

It deals with real world issues, mental health and physical health in a way that is accessible to the reader and will hopefully help someone going through a similar situation. Warning: this book is a roller coaster of emotions. It had me close to tears in many parts because if the realness of this cancer story. I could feel the pain from everyone on every page. I loved how the characters were flawed in their own ways and I felt like I could relate to them in one way or another which helped to draw me into the story. My main criticism is how long the book was. It seemed to drag in a few parts and seemed like it could hav...

I LOVE this amazing heartfelt book!! I was thrilled to receive an arc of UTLSF as I enjoyed this authors first 2 books so much. And as I closed the last page on this book I’m in awe of this remarkable story. This is a beautiful love story between Ben and Riley but it’s much more than that.
