⭐3.5 stars⭐ No Rogue left behind. It means something to them. It means something to you. It means something to me. Stop thinking of it as a weakness, and start thinking of it as a strength.

This final instalment in Bec McMaster’s London Steampunk: The Blue Blood Conspiracy series proved to be everything I was hoping for.  They’ve been among the most consistently enjoyable and entertaining books I’ve read over the past couple of years, and they’ve only got better as the series has progressed, delivering fast-paced, action-packed and intricately constructed stories featuring strong, engaging characters and intense, steamy r...

I'm realy sad when the series I love finishes... :((((I was expecting Malloryn's story since the beginning and the conslusion of the feud between him and Balfour and while I loved this book, I must admit that it was rather anticlimatic!I loved how Bec McMaster managed to transform Adele from a hated character to a good one! When Adele was introduced I saw her as a grabby debutante who forced Malloryn's hand, but here we get to see her POV and why...

**I received a free copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review.**Yes, I absolutely cried. I can’t believe it is the end of this era/series. I’m going to miss the Company of Rogues and their nonstop bantering and espionage and whatnots. Here are some of my thoughts:• This has definitely exceeded my expectations – and my expectations were already pretty damn high after all the glimpses we got into Malloryn & Adele’...

Four and a half. What a tremendous way to end this series. This intelligent, fast moving and beautifully atmospheric steampunk fantasy has held me riveted since its first inception. It's not often that a series delivers on its initial promise but I can honestly say every book has added to this incredible journey. Yes at heart it's a political, fantasy drama but the characters come bursting to glorious life fuelled by numerous emotions but in the ...

Very good conclusion to the Blue Blood Conspiracy books. While I enjoyed it immensely, I didn't feel quite as connected to Malloryn and Adele as a couple. This is probably because McMaster has penned some really terrific foils for one another. Every couple can't be your favorite. However, the excitement is done so, so well and in typical McMaster style. The tower rescue scene was probably my favorite. The rogues gel well as a team. I am definitel...

Truly a grand finale of the series! The Duke of Malloryn has totally owned the Finale, the exact same way he owned the series. His hidden attractiveness just exploded as soon as he was free to be both Auvry Cavill and the Duke of Malloryn. All the thanks went to Adele, his Duchess, who was so perfect as his wife, his partner, and his lover. Loved them together so much! Their path toward a happy ending was no way smooth. Adele's insecurities were ...

4 stars And so the journey (or rather my London Steampunk arc 1 and 2 marathon reading, lol) has ended. With Dukes Are Forever, McMaster said her goodbye to the world of the blue bloods, verwulfen, mechs, dhampir, etc with its steampunk elements. I will never forget the day when I give book 1, Kiss of Steel a chance even though its needs years for me to finally complete the series. Kiss of Steel is the book that start it all, that make McMaster i...

Bec McMaster kept the Duke of Malloryn's story for last, teasing us about his future HEA for a few books, and she delivered superbly with the intensity, the challenges, the internal dilemma and the passion that was brewing between the MC. If I had to resume this book in two words, I'd use the author's expression : carnal warfare. I'm no expert, but I think that one of the secret of a marriage that works is trust and respect. That could certainly ...

Dukes Are Forever was an absolute doozie to read! Adele was perfectly demure and appropriate, but behind her facade hid a passionate personality as well as a cunning-and deeply observational-mind. Adele traps Malloryn into a most inconvenient marriage never expecting feelings to come of it.Malloryn, (Auvry) is fiercely protective of his motley family of spies and loyal to his Queen, but it was his moments of intense curiosity and passionate natur...

4.25 starsAnd all good things must come to an end Dukes Are Forever closes the chapter of London Steampunk series, that started nine books prior with Kiss of Steel. I postponed reading this, as long as I could, because I wasn't ready to say goodbye. And now that I've finished, I felt both melancholy and hangover, as usually happens when a great series end. But boy, McMaster delivers such a satisfying closure -- with the action and the romance --...

Dukes Are Forever is finally here. Readers of the London Steampunk: The Blue Blood Conspiracy series have been waiting for the final showdown between the head of the Company of Rogues (CoR), Duke Malloryn, and his life-long arch-nemesis, Balfour. The story arc has been building for the past four books, even longer if you go back to the original series. Ms. McMaster does not disappoint with this sweeping series conclusion.Malloryn and Balfour have...

I voluntarily reiewed an early copy of this book :) it happened... it finally happened you guys... there are no more words left... I finished the book... one of my most highly anticipated releases of the entire year... and not it's over... *lifts head up from my kindle and looks around* how am I supposed to go back to my normal life now? I fell head over heels into this absolutely amazing steampunk world with paranormal vibes that Bec created and...

It is rare that I :Can find a series already fully writtenDevour all stories in that series within a few weeksEnjoy each story on its own merits and not find too much rinse/repeatUpon completion, still want moreCause I did, and I do.I adored the final nugget here in this 2 part, 5 story per, landscape of sex, vamps, and metal. The final romance in the later series had some similarities to the final story in the original series...which is probably...

Dukes are Forever is a big exclamation point to the Blue Blood Conspiracy series. Clearly, Bec McMaster saved the best for last. Of course, I was anxiously awaiting the Duke of Malloryn’s story. We know from previous stories the he is a bit imperious, controlling, and completely willing to sacrifice himself in the service of the people he loves. And despite the fact he is “forced” (does anyone really force Malloryn to do anything?) to marry...

This was an exceptional conclusion to a most excellent series! This is the book that fans of Ms. McMaster have been waiting for since we first met the Duke of Malloryn in the London Steampunk books. He has always been cold, distant, and calculating. Some would even go so far as to say heartless. We did see a bit of his facade crumble in the last book when his Company of Rouges braved the ruthless Russian court to save him. In this book we truly se...

Honestly this book made me an emotional wreck! Initially read the first five chapters in the sampler and was hooked from day one of this book. But I can definitely say one minute we got sparring between Adele and Malloryn, then we got some seriously steamy sexy times to some action packed scenes. I cried during the most touching of moments later into the book. By far it was a rollercoaster in the emotions. I felt like this book tied things up ver...

#SpoilerWarriorI am devastated that it’s over. I have loved both series completely, loved the world of blue bloods and flesh rights. Bec creates this amazing world that sucks a reader in and then keeps them ensnared with lovable characters and nefarious foes. While I can’t stop wondering why Auvry never tells Adele that Charlie and Lena are siblings, I won’t ever complain about how this last story played out.

Loved this one. I’m just a bit sad that this is the last one of the series. It was intriguing and gripping from page one. I loved the banter between Adele and Malloryn, the action, and the plot, and the final battle with Balfour. Also, a little bit of Batman-The Dark Knight ;)

This is the perfect ending of a explosive and mind bending series. Just the right balance of sexy, suspense, and steampunk! Copy of ebook in exchange for honest review.

I enjoyed Dukes Are Forever it was a good series ender - melting Malloryn was a plus and his heroine was great. Author says she's planning more in the same world though.

A SOLID 4.5 STARS! CAN'T BELIEVE THIS IS THE END OF THIS SERIES! I HAVE TO ADMIT I SKIPPED A FEW BOOKS IN BETWEEN AND CAME TO ADELE'S STORY, SO I MAY HAVE MISSED A FEW THINGS BUT I WILL DEFINITELY READ THE REST LATER.HERO is determined not to love again after having had his first love and unborn child killed by his sworn enemy...which frankly I don't know why they became enemies in the first place since I missed out the middle part of the series....

Bec McMaster does NOT disappoint with this ending!Malloryn has always been such a fascinating character for me and his relationship with Adele sparked curiosity in me for many of the same reasons as it did Malloryn himself. He was always such a controlled character so the idea that someone was able to "trick" him into marriage made such an interesting premise.McMaster did a wonderful job of fleshing out these characters, giving them relatable mom...

This truly is a bittersweet ending to this fantastic world. This is the first review I am writing but the whole entire series, including all of the short stories, was fantastic and I highly recommend them. I definitely recommend reading them in order, although I would suggest reading "Tarnished Knight" before "Lena's Decision" as I feel that order is more accurate with the timeline. This final book in the London Steampunk world was exactly what w...

It's FINALLY here! To say I've been waiting on this book since the beginning is an understatement. Malloryn has been a little piece of all the London Steampunk books and we've only been teased with a bit of his story each time, but now we get his full length novel with a heroine worthy of our head blue blood. While Adele was also introduced a few books ago, it was only through the eyes of everyone else and therefore highly misunderstood as a vapi...
