Great follow-up to book 1 – Temptation. The story continues with Professor Hunter being as mysterious and dominant and Penny as naïve and uncertain as ever. These two are definitely addicted to each other. They come off more obsessed than in love. I laughed every time Penny screamed out “Professor Hunter” during sex. That’s just so wrong! But those sex scenes are hot – that pool scene in particular.I’m enjoying this series and moving...

Don't let my review stop you from reading this one! It can be that you'll enjoy it and love it!So I have lots to ramble about.. But I'll put a lot in spoiler so I don't spoil anything for all the ones who want to read it!But for me I found that Penny wasn't real mature.. Half of the book I wanted to punch her.. First I hated Tyler from his drunk scene, but then we got to know him. I still wasn't sure if the drunk him was the real him or not so th...

Ok this book was actually terrible. Cheesy and predictable... will be stoping the series there for sure.

James and Penny have a lot of ups and downs in their relationship. He has lots of secrets and she doesn't exactly trust him 100%. Isabella turns up the heat by leaking James and Penny's story to the press. Things really get bad for both of them James quits and Penny becomes the University pariah and the press hounds them. Tyler remains a steadfast but hopeful friend even though he realizes Penny really does love James.

Title:Addiction Parts 1-3Author: Ivy SmoakGenre: Contemporary Romance, Erotica, New AdultSeries or Standalone:Series (The Hunted Series #4-6)Rating: ★★★★★ReviewI’ve gone over and over since I finished this a couple of weeks ago how to review it and even now as I sit here for what feels like the hundredth time, I’m still at a loss. I don’t want to speak too much about what takes place within the story because you need to go back an...

Addiction part 1This one picks right off where it ended with part 3, in the Hunted series. I cannot put into words at how much this book ripped my heart out. I was so sad, and frustrated with Penny and James! It was hard to read at how Penny felt after she finally told James her secret, but then to find out some of the secrets James was hiding! Oh my, I was like I have to shake James. As always, Ivy’s story is still addicting! Even though these...

This second book of the series still has me wondering what is REALLY going on here. I doubt the sincerity and motives of every character here. I find myself questioning if James really loves Penny, even though he says he does, and if everyone isn't just playing a big joke on the readers of this story. James brother, Rob, irritates the hell out of me and I think he secretly doesn't want them to succeed. We haven't met their parents yet and I'm not...

This book picks up where Book 1 left off, with James and Penny separated due to the secrets revealed. They each cope with the separation in their own ways, which only furthers to complicate their eventual reunion. This story continues to amaze me with the way the author portrays the primary and secondary characters in such a realistic way, not simplified and cleaned up as it typical in most romance books. James and Penny have a lot of work to do ...

So, so good!!This is the second book in The Hunted Series and it did not disappoint. It starts where it left off in book one and flows nicely all the way to the end. It hooks you and leaves you wanting to read more about Penny as well as the other characters. I was laughing, crying, shocked, mad and hot! The continuing storyline was amazing and all the characters were great as well. I fell in love with all the characters along with with the entir...

I downloaded book 1, Temptation, for free on Kindle thinking this was a standalone. I become so engrossed in the story and didn't mind when I discovered at the end that this was the first book of a series and I needed to be read all of them to complete the story of Penny and James. I headed straight to Amazon and download the next 3 books, Addiction, Eruption, and Devotion. I consumed all 4 books in one weekend and went to work on the Monday afte...

I liked the story of Addiction enough and liked how we saw progression with Penny and James. But again I had the same problems as I did in the first book Temptation with regards to Penny. Jeez you love one guy, so stop kissing others! Seriously I get confusion but I started to agree with what her peers were calling her. Sorry but in all other aspects of Penny I really like her and think she's a great character. But her feelings for James, Tyler a...

What an emotional rollercoaster! Penny has a hard time controlling the little voice in her head that immediately thinks the worst when it comes to Professor Hunter but it makes for good drama. I found myself really loving James' brother Rob. Oh my God he takes no filter to a whole other level and I found myself really lol. Things get ridiculous for them since the school found out but I think they came up with the right solution. I would have done...

The saga continuesI love the story of Penny and James. I could not put the book down. The love between the two characters and their developing relationship is captivating. I guess I like that it could be a true story but the only reason I have it a four star rating is the editing errors and also the fact that the real jerky Professor for off lightly for his inappropriate unsolicited behavior..

Scandals, Secrets, and Betrayal –Penny tries to recover over the breakup with Professor Hunter. Her roommate Melissa suggest the best way to get back at him is to move on with someone else. That someone is Tyler, Penny’s friend who is in love with her and despised by Professor Hunter. I really enjoyed this book. The development of the relationship between Penny and her professor from the first time they meet to the end of the book was more realistic than some as they learn to trust each other and work together with every obstacle they encounter. I'm looking forward to reading, Eruption, the next book in the series.

Exciting and creative writingThis second book was fast reading 📚 and has real issues for some colleges. But the love of the story seems real. Penny and James story could be real to someone.

Talk about an ADDICTION!! I loved this book, I read it every chance I could so I finished it over a couple of days 😁 lol I do recommend it to others, but of course you should definitely read the first book before this one. I feel like that’s a given though :)
