That Forever Girl was about two people who may have loved each other too much. So much that they couldn't help but hurt each other. So much that it drew out the most immature impulses they ever had. Was it fun to watch? You bet your ass it was!Rogan and Harper were best friends since sixth grade. In their teens, they both couldn't understand what had changed but they wanted each other. They just didn't share it. There were awkward moments, insecu...

4.5 stars for Harper and Rogan ❤!🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟This was the second book that I've read by Meghan Quinn and it was a really good one.Unfortunately, I didn't read the first book from this series but that didn't bother my reading because this book is standalone. But, of course, I would like to read the first book."That Forever Girl" is a love story about two young people, Harper and Rogan, which will make you cry and smile through the whole b...

4 1/2 "2nd chance" Stars! That Forever Girl was a great installment to the Getting Lucky series! I really liked the way Ms. Quinn went back and forth between the past and the present to let Rogan and Harper's story gradually unfold. It felt like a very natural way to share the information with the reader and had an easy flow. It also made it more heartbreaking at times to go from a chapter where they were young and happily in love to a chapter wh...

An incredible emotional story and one of my favorites by Meghan Quinn. The heartache of both Harper and Rogan kept me on the edge of tears for the first part of the story. Then I was cheering for them! I loved how Quinn did the flashback chapters, slowly revealing the shocker of what actually drove them apart. I am so in love with this town and the people in it!!

This didn't work for me.The banter between the brothers is good even funny at times. The curse situation, maybe it's just me but I didn't get it, they are letting it rule their lives. It was a bit ridiculous. Dual POV.Flashback alternative chapters. No intimate scenes with anyone other than the Hero and heroine. No cheating. No other woman/man drama except an experience related from the past. The Hero broke up with the heroine, there is a lot involved...

„If there’s one thing I know for sure about my life, it’s that you’ll be in it.”Port Snow and Knightly brothers completely stole my heart. In That Forever Girl Meghan Quinn took me on an emotional journey paved with heartbreak, regrets, disappointment and longing. But she also showed me the magic of feelings and gave me hope, because Harper and Rogan’s story is the proof that great love deserves a second chance. And all that takes pla...

*5 Stars* ARC kindly received in exchange for an honest review. Gah! I loveeeee this series! The Knightly Brothers and the town of Port Snow have stolen my heart, well and truly stolen it. I was intrigued about Rogan, and I wanted to get to know his story. This sure is the story of the one who got away, or, more accurately, the one he pushed away. For the first half, at least, of this book, I really was not a huge fan of Rogan. The flashback cha...

5 Stars / 3 Steam FansI was so excited when Meghan Quinn announced that she was starting a new series of standalones based around a small tourist town. Then I read the first book about this family and the brothers that think they have a curse placed on their love lives. This book follows the second brother, Rogan and his childhood sweetheart Harper. Rogan and Harper were best friends turned sweethearts until something splits the two apart. You sp...

4.5 StarsAnother fabulously sweet romance for another of the Knightly brothers. Rogan Knightly got his second chance with his first love, Harper Sanders, and it was an emotional transformation to being the man she deserved. In book one of this delightful series, we get to know a little about the Knightly brothers, but Roger Knightly was the most aloof. He was the broody one of the bunch and all the while I kept thinking...why? What happened to hi...

*4.5 stars*Meghan Quinn brings us back to Port Snow, Maine for her second book in her series on the Knightly Brothers. I loved book one, so I was eager to get my hands on this one and it did not disappoint. While this is still a standalone, you really should read the first book to get everything in more detail. This book focuses on Rogan. The banter between the brothers was top notch as always! The family members and the town were back to their u...

Ah another Knightly brother. I’m really liking all of the brothers, their group texts are pretty entertaining. I do have to say that it took me a minute to not want to junk punch Rogan. For a hot minute there, he was kinda being a dick to Harper when she came back to town. There was a lot of guilt going around and he finally pulled his head outta his booty so that helped. Overall it’s a great second chance and it got me a wee bit emotional a ...

Oh, my heart! Gah, this was such an amazingly beautiful journey between these two. I don't know how many times I cried and laughed. It's very heartwarming.Harper and Rogan were best friends, that turned to lovers. They were addicted to each other and felt that no one else could ever come between them. But of course, words are thrown, and mistakes are made. That sent them in opposite directions. I truly felt Harper's emotions throughout this story...

When I finished this book I was not okay. This was a complete knockout. 10/10 for me. Top 2019 read for sure. Wow. Now, being 100% honest I was a little nervous about how this book was going to go. It's the second book in the series and the first was lukewarm for me, which was disappointing given I'm a huge fan of Meghan's. BUT let me tell you, when this ARC hit my kindle I dove in and didn't come up for air until I finished it. I love how this w...

5 star review of That Forever Girl (Getting Lucky #2) by Meghan Quinn I love second chance at love stories, add in that it is set in a charming little town whose name I love, Port Snow, Maine and I am all set. That Forever Girl is the second book in the Getting Lucky Series and it follows the story of Rogan and Harper. Once upon a time, Rogan and Harper had that once in a lifetime, life altering love. I knew reading the first book in this series, that Rogan’s tale was going to hurt, and it did. He’s a young man, making a name for himself towards a football career when one night things change dramatically. His world is turned upside down and unfortunately he pushes away the one person he needs the most. Seven years down the track, he is still trying to prove to himself that he can have a full filling life after football when Harper comes ho...
