This Review is for Amelia Hutchin’s Darkest King!Well she up and did it again didn’t she. Here we see the makings of yet another amazing series to get lost in. Elianna is everything you could want from a badass b$tch who at first comes across as meek, mild and a victim of circumstance. However, by the end you are cheering her on and fist pumping the air in triumph. This discarded nobody is far from a victim and more of a master strategist. Ev...

I do not typically read Anthologies, preferring to read longer stories, however I thoroughly enjoyed reading this one. Each author has written a short, succinct story that gives us a snapshot into the life of the characters and worlds they have created. While many of these stories are part, or will be part, of a larger story line, there are some that are a standalone, full short story. The authors have clearly stated if these stories are part of ...

Darkest King by Amelia Hutchins- 3.5 starsGreat start to a new series from Amelia Hutchins. I had some Fighting Destiny vibes from this short story. It was over far too quickly for my liking!

My review is over The Darkest King from Amelia Hutchins. And just like that a new world has been introduced! Sizzling new characters burn up the pages! Eli and Dominick are an assassin team that fall into what appears to be a trap... but you know Hutchins has tons of curve balls to throw at ya. I can't wait for the rest of this story coming this Fall!

Once again a great collection of stories by fantastic authors, some new to me, some I love and are (slightly) obsessed with. Well done everyone, you should all be very proud of the stories you’ve all created. The Willow Trail - May Sage 4⭐️New to me author. I love reading the Midnight Coven series books as it introduces me to new authors. I really enjoyed reading this book, Keira is a strong, independent, kicka** chick. She is given the raw ...

A Disappointing AnthologyI am a person who normally loves collections, anthologies, compilations, or whatever the group of authors putting them together chooses to call their bundle of stories. This week, unfortunately, I read not just one but two anthologies that disappointed me. This is one of them. I am new to most, if not all, of these authors. That's a reason why I enjoy anthologies; I hope to be introduced to a new author or two whose books...

This is a NON-SPOILER REVIEW. Tempted By Fae is a multi-author Anthology presented by the Midnight Coven. If you haven't read any of the Midnight Coven anthologies, you have been missing out. I specifically picked this up to read works by two of the authors, but I found myself devouring all the stories in the anthology. This review is for Her Fae Warrior by Ariel Marie. I really enjoyed this read. Ariel Marie always gives us strong heroines, fearl...

I’m not quite through this anthology yet, but I wanted to share my thoughts. This is a refreshingly varied anthology, with a vast range of writing styles and types of stories, and that makes it perfect for the current world situation – you can dip in and snack, or you can sit down and feast on the stories. I’m a Patricia D. Eddy fan, but the other authors were new to me, and, logically, I started with Patricia’s “Crowned Torment,” a f...

This rating/review concerns only Kiss of Forever by S. Young. It was amazing to revisit Rose and Fiònn, and even more amazing to see more of Kio, and enticing even more for the coming book of the series!

Review for each story: (I’ll update as I get each one read) 2nd story in the book: 5 stars *****Darkest King by Amelia Hutchins (I read this story first because I bought this book for her story) I LOVED this story and can not wait for the continuation! Her female lead characters are just the best there is.. always strong, always kick ass, but yet so relatable with their flaws and struggles to succeed. Her male characters always start out as sex...

I was thrilled to get a copy of this ARC, especially when I learned that Patricia Eddy's included novella would be a follow-up to her recent novel, Twisted Captive. My initial review is for her novella alone, with an update below after having read the anthology.Crowned Torment opens with Kat, a human in the human realm, unhappily seeking an artifact for the demanding boss of a video game company. Of course, said artifact is cursed, binds itself t...

This anthology was largely written and edited cleanly, with few typos for most of the stories in this anthology, in the ARC version. The highlight of this anthology was the story by Marina Simcoe. That one was absolutely lovely! Some of the other stories were also enjoyable, but I gave this anthology three stars because at least half of the stories in it were ended on a cliffhanger or were a short slice of life story from a previous novel which I...

Like others who had this on pre-order, I had to purchase after the release thanks to a snafu within the Amazon system. I started out by sampling around the stories. Of course, I headed for Patricia Eddy's first, but then I read the others too. And in this case, with this anthology, you won't have much to worry about. I think all the stories rank up there as being very well written. If you are a paranormal fan, this anthology gives you SO MUCH to c...

ONE DELECTABLY DELIGHTFUL TREAT!!!Crank it up! This immensely talented, gifted and dynamic group of authors delivers an exciting non-stop, action packed, hard hitting, pulse racing, heart pounding, page flipping bombshell, that hooks you from the start. Maneuvering through intimidating trials and challenging tribulations, noting the shocking twists and wicked turns, testing our characters in ways they could have never envisioned. Rousting the dra...

I’m not usually fan of short stories but I thought I would give this a wee go as I’m thoroughly enjoying the True Immortal books by S Young. I also love Amelia Hutchens Fae books so thought why not.I would say I would give those 2 lovely ladies short story’s full 5/5 which I had no doubt about. It has just made me thirsty for more from them. The others were completely new to me but I thought this would be a good way to see other authors wor...

I think Anthologies are a great way of getting a taster of an author or genre, even if you prefer to read longer stories I am sure you will enjoy reading this collection. Every story is short and succinct and gives us a glimpse into the life of the characters and worlds each author has created. Some of the stories are standalone short stories while others are from a series, but still enjoyable and you know before you start reading them which they ...

This book is a collection of twelve paranormal Fae romances, and while I only had a chance to read one of the stories so far, I really enjoyed this book. Crowned Torment by Patricia D. Eddy, follows Adrian and Kat. When Kat finds herself searching for an artifact for her arrogant boss, the artifact attaches itself to her and magically transports her to a different Realm, where she finds herself in the arms of Adrian, the son of the former king. A fabulous group of authors have delivered a wonderful variety of paranormal stories set in the land of the Fae. I haven’t hadCome What Fae by Andie M Long: I had fun reading this story. Zara hasn’t been successful dating so she has signed up with the Witherensea dating agency but her first date is an absolute disaster. Not having much hope, she tries again and meets Boone who blows her away. Now Boone is looking to mate with a non-Fae to bri...

Tempted....by Her Fae Warrior❣️This review is for Her Fae Warrior by Ariel Marie. I will try slowly to review more of the other stories but I have such a hectic schedule and the other authors are unknown to me, other than Ariel, but I will try at a later date to get more of these stories read❣️I really enjoyed Ariel’s story as it focuses on the General of Faery’s Army and the Princess. It had a familiar feel to it like I’ve read a s...

I received a copy from Andie Long and provided my review voluntarily. I read hers first and will review others as I finish. Come What Fae: Quick novella that stands alone from the series. Always a fun read with snarky humor and sexual tension. Nothing says fun like a paranormal dating agency. Zara is basically a homebody with sloppy habits. Boone is a faerie with a talent for cleaning. A match made in faerie land. If you like this one start the s...

This is a good collection of twelve magical paranormal romances. The collection features some of my favorites writers in this genre but also some new authors I was happy to be introduced to. The stories are all fairly quick reads that feature some wonderful characters and enjoyable plots. All of the stories vary on plots that are captivating and intriguing. The one thing I did not like is that some of these ended in cliffhangers or had me confuse...

I have only read a few fae romance books and I am becoming a huge fan of them, so when I read this anthology I was beyond excited because what is interesting about fae stories is that each one is unique. This anthology is full of great short stories that I found exciting, steamy, and fun to read. Each one brings it own uniqueness to the fae world and each author has their own take of what the fae, their worlds, and different creatures should be l...

This is a book with fae stories from different writers. So if you like to read about the fae like me, there is definitely a story for you in this too. There all kind of stories some with action, all with some kind of love in it, some with hot steamy moments, other with fights, stories about trust, with magic and more. Most stories are full short stories and two had an open ending (not my thing, because I want to know what is going to happen next)And...

Truthfully I read this book because one of my favorite authors, Patricia D Eddy contributed to the anthology. Her selection was, as always, well crafted and I absolutely loved the story. What I was not expecting was to find myself lost in the other stories. This isn't my go to genre so I was unfamiliar with the other authors and I have to say I was blown away. I kid you not I blew my book budget for the month once I finished the anthology. Unique...

Best you get comfy before you start this collection as once you start the only time you will move is to look for more books by each author. This is a great collection to sample other authors work as well as visit their existing worlds and find new authors to read and enjoy. I loved how Patrica D. Eddy's contribution to this collection Crowned Torment was a novella based in her book Twisted Captive's world. It was great to be back in crazy fae wor...

This is an awesome set of short stories that really take you on a reading adventure. Lots of these authors were new to me and I was pleased to find out how good they were in this fun collection. Personal fave, May Sage, hit it out of the park with her signature detailed writing, mystery and complex characters. I loved Ariel Marie's story of war, magic and romance. So many strong characters and so many enticing worlds to showcase the different aut...
