As with the previous volume, I loved this one as well. Before I get to this, keep in mind that I've watched the anime and love it dearly. To be honest, it's my all time favourite anime so far and I'm already quite attached to the characters. However, apart from the anime taking a complete different turn from the manga storyline -as far as I know- it's also been almost a year since I've watched it, so I don't remember every detail, which resulted ...

The second volume is about as exciting as the first one! Our characters keep growing and more mystery evolves in each chapter. I'm curious to know what the rest of the series hold!

22 January 2013Blue Exorcist, Volume 2 is even better than the first volume by stepping up the action and delving more into mysteries and betrayals, making it nearly impossible for you to not get sucked in. The plot gets more complex as a gang of new characters are introduced. This volume introduces tough, ambitious Ryuji Suguro, who shares the same goal as Rin. His father was a monk (aren't monks supposed to be chaste?) who survived the ill-fated...

This managed to be even better than the first vol. We get to know and understand how the main characters feel and think in a deeper way, which I wasn't expecting to happen so soon, making it even more amazing.I'm totally reading the next few!

The art is just improving chapter by chapter!!! The plot gets tighter and more elaborated and I need to read the next one. The way the characters and the settings were drew is beautiful, the expressions and the architecture is wonderful. The relationships between the characters are getting ticker and we see them evolve every page. we get to know their past and fears, each one is different and you get to fully understand them.Amaimon, king of earth...

I’m glad to be back in this universe! This was a fun book because we get to meet more of the classmates/cast of characters.“Rin thinking: He must put some effort into that hair. It’s cool. He’s a rebel.”I forgot how adorable Rin is. I like Bon and I think have an interesting dynamic. I also really love Shiemi and don’t want anyone to be mean to her! She’s so sweet and she has a familiar that’s pretty freaking awesome. I’m intere...

I'm not overly impressed with this at the moment, but it's really enjoyable and I'm curious to see where this is going. It has that "I'm a super dedicated idiot" feel to it that I get from things like Naruto and One-Piece, but it does feel slightly more polished that than this early on.

I need more sweet moments between Rin and Yukio. AND IT'S STILL 2017 HERE IN VENEZUELA!

I should have read this in English a lot earlier. My Japanese was not up to this challenge, there were so many details I missed or misunderstood. Everything makes so much more sense now.

This will be a mini review because I'm not giving spoilers yet, but I will do a spoiler review in the next book, and kind going back with some details from the story.Just like the last one, I loved it! I already know the story, because like I said before, I saw the anime. But I am really enjoying actually reading it.This book has more action than the last one, we are able to know a bit better the characters, their flaws, their wishes, their belie...

Rin, the son of Satan, has joined True Cross Academy to study to be an exorcist so he can destroy his father. Unfortunately, he seems to have a bit of a lazy mind, excelling more at the fighting. His twin brother, Yukio, who has none of the satanic aspects, is such a good student he also teaches demon pharmaceuticals to the cram school. He is rather underwhelmed by his twin’s academic abilities. (Rin got 2 right on his exam, ah, he’s one of M...

Short Review: I love how I don't know who are the "good" guys, and who are the "bad" guys. Tons of action and development!Long Review:Once again, greattt volume! In this volume we got to see Rin's classmates and how they were like. We also got to know more about exorcists and the different types. In the beginning, there was friction between some of the students but that helps with the development. We got to see the back stories of some characters....

Chapter 4 Rating: 4*Chapter 5 Rating: 4*Chapter 6 Rating: 4.5*Chapter 7 Rating: 5*Overall Rating: 4.5*This one was much better than the first volume. It's always a little hard when you start something new because you have to be introduced to characters and get a feel for the world, but I think this one was paced a lot better. I'm glad we got to see more of the schooling and the training, but that we weren't bogged down with it. Sometimes it can b...

I liked this book, even more than I liked volume 1. In it we learned more about the blue flame, it introduced us to some more classmates in the exorcist class. I hadn't realized the age difference in his class which does confuse me a bit since at least one of them has to be 5-6 years older than him, but had been planning to be an exorcist for awhile. Not sure why this student hadn't enrolled before this point... Also my question from volume 1, wh...

I'm picking up more details now with a second read-through of these, especially after having watched the anime first. The great thing is that I can hear all of the characters in my head as I'm reading, and that always makes it more entertaining for me. I love the character development, as well as the lessons and action that are packed into each volume, and I am definitely eager to see what all differences there are between the manga and anime. On ...

Una gran mejora respecto al volumen anterior. El dibujo es fenomenal, los personajes son curiosos y están muy bien caracterizados, y la historia es tan estrambótica rozando lo absurdo que es difícil aburrirse. Nada más que decir.
